Millie was present watching the lads also. Future U18s manager???
Jaros loan to be finished at the end of this month. Wonder what is next? Awkward time to come back to look for another move out.
U19 highlight vs Atl Madrid.

Thanks for the link. Havenât really seen much of Billy the Kid, having watched the highlights it relates to many a persons observation.
On roughly about 3 mins (on clip) he is caught so far out of place, its mental. Then on the other hand he plays a real eye of the needle ball for our first goal.
Heâs a player with a few really top level attributes (Height, power, some incredible long passes) and also some real low points (positional play, decision making, dallying on the ball/passing in our own half)
If he could iron out his flaws he would definitely be premier league material but heâs been here a while now and there seems to have been little, if any, progress.
U18s vs Middlesbrough
Davies
Davidson Omoruyi Miles Chambers
Stephenson Bajcetic McConnell
Clark Cannonier Pilling
Subs: Mrozek; Laffey, Scanlon, Figueroa
Balagizi with the u23s? Or possibly even going to make the bench for the first team?
Training with the first team.
Yeah saw that in photos so wouldnât actually be a surprise to see him on the first team bench with a lot of CMs out. Want to know more about Oakley Cannonier though, apparently scored another couple?
Not sure at this stage if he will be in the U23s squad or with the first team. He was at first team training on Friday along with Conor Bradley, Kaide Gordon and Elijah Dixon-Bonner.
Two goals today for Cannonier again we lead 2 -1 HT
Both tap ins in fairness, as most of his goals are. The challenge will be to translate this form to more senior football - he doesnât have a lot of other assets to his game currently.
Frauendorf created both goals (in youth football creators are generally more exciting to me).
U23s vs West Ham

Bradley Boyes Koumetio Beck
Dixon-Bonner Clayton Norris
Balagizi Musialowski Bearne
Subs: Hughes; Quansah, Corness, Woltman
So of those you mentioned, only Gordon isnât in the U23s lineup. Bench appearance incoming you reckon?
There was near-relentless drama as Liverpool U18s were beaten 4-3 by Middlesbrough at a rainswept Academy on Saturday afternoon.
Oakley Cannonierâs 11th and 12th league strikes of 2021-22 handed the young Reds a lead twice in Kirkby, but Boro responded on each occasion through Calum Kavanagh and then Sonny Finch.
The away side enjoyed the better chances in the second half and Kavanagh put them ahead with his second of the day on 70 minutes â but Melkamu Frauendorf nodded in an equaliser in the closing stages.
Middlesbrough came again, however, and Kavanagh threaded a low shot under Harvey Davies with four seconds remaining of normal time to take all three points, with Cannonier seeing a 96th-minute penalty saved.
Before kick-off at the Academy both sides paused to pay their respects ahead of Remembrance Day with a minuteâs applause in the centre-circle.
When the action began it was the visiting side making more of the initial running, though Liverpool created the first genuine shooting opportunity on 10 minutes.
Frauendorfâs neat footwork as he moved in from the right edge of the area opened up space to launch a blast at goal that was pushed up and away by the palms of Henry Popple.
Foreshadowing how much of the contest would play out, Boro threatened an opener themselves within a matter of seconds.
Kavanagh embarked on a sprint from inside his own half, going past three Reds opponents along the way, and sent in a low shot towards the left corner that had to be tipped wide by Davies.
The game was still just 17 minutes old when Cannonier put Liverpool ahead.
Frauendorf scampered clear along the left flank and unselfishly squared to Luca Stephenson as Popple inched out of goal. Stephensonâs attempt was blocked by a defender on the goalline but fell sweetly for Cannonier to tuck home one of his easier finishes of the season.
Celebrations were short-lived, however; Kavanagh and Finch completed a slick one-two at pace that allowed the former to break into the box and guide the ball into the right side of the net.
The hosts then lost Stephenson to an apparent hamstring injury, the midfielder replaced by Michael Laffey on the half-hour mark.
Finch rasped an angled strike too high for the visitors, before Cannonier doubled his tally for the afternoon after an excellent Reds move in the fifth minute of added time.
Tommy Pillingâs precise, long knock from his own half turned defence into attack, Frauendorfâs perfect control and rolled pass into the middle created the chance, and Cannonier sealed it clinically.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinsonâs Reds would have hoped to build on their new advantage when play resumed, but it was Boro who turned the screw during the second period.
Finch should probably have brought them level two minutes after the restart, having broken clear along the left into a one-on-one with Davies, only to sweep his shot wide of the far post.
The forward did net with 54 on the clock, though, his low hit on the turn squeezing through the fingers and legs of a disappointed Davies as he tried to collect.
Liverpool rallied and Cannonier might have put them ahead a third time â and clinched a hat-trick â with a chance inside the box that was crucially deflected off target.
And, instead, Middlesbrough gained the fifth of the encounter. Fenton Johnâs forward pass invited Kavanagh to run through and he slid a confident shot past Davies having dribbled past two recovering Reds.
The hosts refused to give up and they levelled in the 83rd minute when a deep corner from the left was nodded down and Frauendorf reacted brilliantly to guide a rising header into the roof of the net.
Frauendorf could have won it for Bridge-Wilkinsonâs charges as his close-range effort was swarmed by Popple, which allowed Boro to counter and go 4-3 ahead through Kavanagh, the striker wrapping up a hat-trick with another calm conversion from inside the area.
Liverpool laid siege to opposition territory in the search for another equaliser and after Bobby Clarkâs firm drive was beaten away by Popple, Yacou Traore was judged to have brought down Josh Davidson in the box.
Cannonier stepped up to take the kick â the last of the game â and saw his penalty clawed away by the diving Popple to confirm victory for Middlesbrough.
Liverpool U18s: Davies, Davidson, Chambers, Lucky, Miles, Stephenson (Laffey, 30 (Figueroa, 90)), Frauendorf, Bajcetic, Cannonier, Pilling (Scanlon, 69), Clark.
Unused substitute: Mrozek.
West Ham 3-0 Liverpool u23 latest score.
He will be with the first team, whether he actually gets into the squad or not I am not sure.
Liverpool U23s were beaten 3-0 by West Ham United in their Premier League 2 clash on Saturday.
Barry Lewtasâ team came in to the game having collected seven points from their previous three in the division, but were 2-0 down before the midway point of the first half.
Two goals in as many minutes from Sonny Perkins and then Thierry Nevers gave the home side a firm grip on the contest at Rush Green and left the visitors with much to do.
The Redsâ frustrations were soon further compounded by the loss of midfielder Elijah Dixon-Bonner to injury midway through the period.
Lewtasâ side dug in, enjoyed plenty of the possession and created chances of their own in the search for a way back into the clash, only for Perkinsâ second to seal the points for West Ham nine minutes into the second half.
âWe said to the players afterwards we need to reflect on it and we certainly want to be better in some moments,â Lewtas told Liverpoolfc.com post-match.
âWe did actually create some good chances; maybe half-chances, Iâm maybe being a bit generous there. But we did actually play some good football. It was probably some real small details that in the end become the important details, which cost us the first two goals and then youâre chasing a little bit.
âThe third goal, fair play, it was a real good finish on the counter-attack. Second half â and first half â we created plenty of chances but youâve got to have that quality just to finish them off. Today it just wasnât meant to be.â
Liverpool U23s: Pitaluga, Bradley, Beck, Boyes, Koumetio (Quansah, 63), Clayton, Bearne, Dixon-Bonner (Woltman, 22), Musialowski, Norris, Balagizi (Corness, 56).
Unused substitute: Hughes.
U23s vs Port Vale
Pitaluga
Gallacher Quansah Bajcetic Norris
Bearne Corness Clark
Gordon Musialowski Woltman
Subs: Mrozek, Kelly; Pilling, Cannonier
For the third time this season I will complain about scheduling for this tournament. International break so Liverpool missing the vast majority of players who would qualify to play in this one and a few other are out with injuries.
U23 debut for Bobby Clark. Also first time at this level for Tommy Pilling who came into the U18s as a centre forward but has transitioned into a midfield role at U18 level.
Just saw the scoreline. Cannonier came on as sub at about 75min, Port Vale immediately scored another one. Losing 5-0.
Musialowski picked up a knock on his knee. Hope that he is ok.
