Done very well. They are mad for him back. Learnt a lot at RB and doesn’t look as slow as I last remembered. Hope to see him go out on loan again next year but try play in the middle
Expected to go back there for next season isn’t he.
Yeah thought I heard there was a clause he was to go back if he had played for a certain amount of games. But according to an interview he seems to like it there and he seems to be liked so I don’t see why he wouldn’t stay, maybe Jürgen or Julian Ward (our loan manager) would have other ideas?
Yeah I’d like to see him stay there but nice into CB permanently.
This is another Nat-like story that went under the radar. I remember he was struggling to get into the U23 before he went out on loan. It was basically a sweetener for PNE but he played in almost all the games since his move.
Definitely I remember thinking we expected this lad to become the new Virgil but people like Boyes and Koutmetio were getting likened more than him. He has had a beneficial loan spell in the Championship and most likely another one next year. Think I’m two years he will get his chance where others like Koutmetio will not have that similar experience
If he plays full season with PNE, he will most surely play 30+ games and that’s huge pathway accelerator. That may also decide if he will be a CB or a RB in the future.
Yeah will be brilliant for him. Just can’t see him staying RB in the future or even next season. Then again I don’t know what’s the thoughts of the individuals involved
Loris Karius will be among the first names to report back to Kirkby for pre-season training on July 12, but the goalkeeper has no chance of a future at Liverpool.
the club “will not stand in the way of any permanent deal”
Keep up the good work Seep. YNWA
They missed a trick there…
The club will approach a permanent deal in the same way Karius approaches goal bound shots, and ‘not stand in the way’
“Can he make the grade?”
No.
Why did we sign him in the first place? Was there any hope of him ever breaking through or was this one of those money-making prospects?
I don’t think we ever thought he would play for us but he was available for a cheap price and had just played well at an international tournament. Probably we expected he would at least get good time at one of these loan spells but it appears he’s just crap.
Caernafon Town in the Welsh premier league have signed Jakub Orjinski from our u23s on loan. Strange move in my opinion, thought it’s a tad of a lower level that he is at. Suppose not many teams want a 18 year old in goal. But experience is experience.
Leighton Clarkson on loan to Blackburn, nice set up for a goal (well, the opposition keeper…):
