Jake Cain not playing too much is he? Though he would be brilliant at that level

10 games so far, 1 assist, 533 minutes in total.

About to go to penalty’s for Jaros. Could be a hero in a hostile 40,000 capacity stadium with fireworks getting fired at him. I’m here now

Has anyone been following Sepp van den Berg? He has been an integral part of Preston this season playing in CB, RB, and RM positions.

Ben Davies not in Sheffield utd squad yesterday? How has he been playing?

Not a nailed-down starter for a midtable Championship team.

Shame, maybe they might offer a few million in the summer.

He’s getting rave reviews, the type players who are too good for that level tend to get when they’re out on loan.

Could find himself taking Nat Phillips role next season, perhaps also offering a bit of competition for Bradley if Neco gets sold.

Wasn’t there a clause or something that gave Preston the first option to sign him on loan again in 2022/23? I assumed Klopp wanted to give him another year of experience before making a decision on him.

I think that was the clause to take him for this season as well as the 6 months they got last.
He’s still only 20 , have a feeling he might a player that makes it here.

Wouldn’t rush with the idea that playing on the right for Preston in the Championship would be enough to play at RB for us. But good to hear that one loan is going well this season. We’ve finally trimmed that squad down. One more summer and hopefully we’re operating with a normal number. We’ll see if it’s a new loan for Sepp at Preston or possibly better side or we see a place for him here.

I haven’t rushed anything, I suggested he might be competition for Bradley who isn’t good enough yet either. Sepp is two years older, would have played 18 months of men’s football and is more physically ready so he could be the safer choice for a bit.

Seen a few fans say on their forum that he’s a quality player but maybe not quite our standard. I’d say he’s a 20 million pound player right now which is decent tbf. If we are to be fully strengthened at the back I’d say he will be moved on in two years for a good fee.

More praise for Sepp from Preston fans, they seem to love him.

A second assist for Neco in his second game, good cross from deep.

Phillips doesn’t seem to have settled well, but he did get put upfront for a bit yesterday, so there’s that.

Bournemouth have come a long way from Howe’s football to Nat Phillips up front.
