Are we considering Sepp van den Berg as an alternative to Neco for backup RB next season?
Nah he’s a cb has been back playing his natural position this season.
Ben Davies came on in the 88th minute and scored the winner in injury time for Sheffield Utd against Blackburn.
Here is the goal:
Now we just need Brewster to keep a clean sheet for them
I had forgotten who he was, had to Google
Still a better signing than Istvan Kozma and Torben Piechnik though
Neco with two goals for Fulham tonight the second one an absolute stunner, he’s been nothing short of spectacular for them since joining in January
Edit: the second goal
Neco Williams, Fulham: 15 games, 1288 mins
Nat Phillips, Bournemouth: 19 games, 1710 mins
Ben Davies, Sheffield United: 22 games, 1887 mins
Sepp van den Berg, Preston: 50 games, 4418 mins
Sheyi Ojo, Millwall: 19 games, 1015 mins
Anderson Arroyo, Mirandes: 41 games, 3271 mins
Ben Woodburn, Hearts: 30 games, 1418 mins
Adam Lewis, Livingston: 13 games, 684 mins
Paul Glatzel, Tranmere: 22 games, 1390 mins
Jake Cain, Newport County: 28 games, 1706 mins
I had completely forgot about Lewis.
Just switched on Blackburn vs Cardiff
Morton with a pinpoint 40 yard ball to create the opening goal.
Morton off with a knock in the 88th minute. Created another big chance earlier on with a clever cross.
Levels above anyone else on the pitch technically as expected.
How about the physical aspect? He isn’t the quickest player but does he get muscled off the ball easily, does he cover a lot of ground, put himself into tackles etc.?
He definitely isn’t scared of a tackle but he still looks very slight. Didn’t notice many physical battles.
He’s good at using his body to protect the ball and moving it on quickly, he rarely gets caught out that way. Still don’t think he’d be winning many genuine 50/50s at Premier League level though.
Does Conor Bradley look like he might make it here? His loan spell seems to be going well but i dont know if he has the physique to claim a spot here now that Ramsey is in the squad.
His loan spell is going about as well as possible. No reason why he isn’t setting himself up for a career here.
Speaking of Bradley, I see Beck still isnt getting many games. Is the loan just not a good fit for him or is not doing well?
Also, I didnt think you could loan more than 1 player from the same club. Did I make that up, or is there something funky about this loan that allowed Bolton to take him having already for Bradley?
Beck isnt as talented as Bradley, think thats the long and short of it.
Regards the loan rule I think thats a restriction for PL to PL loans but for PL to FL I think its 4 per team.
Doubt it which is why we’ve signed Ramsay. After seeing so many local lads from the academy come and go you slowly lose hope.
Look at Brewster, supposed to have been 1 of the most talented kids we’ve had in the last decade and never got near.
We’ve had so many go out on loan and do well, I see it as more of an opportunity for them to get their career started elsewhere and not as an opportunity for us to find what we’re looking for.
