Luis DIAZ: 2022/23

Caught a little bit of the game and it seemed like he had a freer role than normally, playing not as the natural left winger (and dropping to defend, instead he looked to press when he could and had a player covering the left side for him), but basically as the left sided forward in what looked like a 4-4-2.

Mmmmm rather see it go to Thuram or Kone

Shouldn’t they get #8?

#7 and #10 sorted then.

Yeah, you’d think that was a more likely option

Wait till Hendo gets #8.

MacAllister didn’t want to wear No.8 - He said he didn’t think he was good enough

Instead, he went for the 10 saying, “I’m a lot better than John Barnes.” :joy:

Change thread title.

Do these things actually matter?

Does if you just bought a shirt with No.23 on the back :0)
So last season…

Retro is cool though.

The child will hate it now but give it 10 years they will dine out on it.

In the pub where I grew up, there was a prick from Bristol named Johnny who always wore the same United shirt with Rooney #18 on the back.

He tried convincing everyone that he wore #18 in his first couple of games for United, then switched to #8 when everyone realised how good he was - something our Johnny was already well aware of being oh so knowledgeable about football.

Everyone knew he was full of shit but it was harder to prove these things before smart phones became omnipresent.

Yep still love my Gerrard 17 shirt!

This would be more plausible if it was an Everton shirt. By the time he signed for Utd the whole world knew he was incredibly special, let alone for an 18(?) year old.

I think she said YES.

Why is that lady having a piss in her handbag though?

What??? I thought that’s where baby handbags and man bags came from.
