That’s way too low for me but if we are needing to up our pursuits of others we have to bite the bullet.

This is one summer I’m not saying now the club have to show some ambition :joy:

Big loss imo. I’ve also got this horrible feeling that PIF will tell us to piss off and they’ll keep Isak and nobody will come in for Nunez or Chiesa.

This should be one of those transfers where everyone involved is a winner. Liverpool get an excellent fee, Bayern get a really good player, Diaz himself gets a massive new contract (and a league where he’ll run riot and be virtually guaranteed to win it every year, unfortunately).

I’ll feel a little bit more a winner when we sign Isak. :joy:

There are other options.

Time to invent new songs with Jota’s death (sure it will be sang though), Diaz and Chiesa leaving.

It’s not 100% until it’s confirmed, but I believe they have confidence that the Isak deal can get done quickly.

The rest, if Chiesa and Elliott leave, we might still be a bit short in offensive positions. So it wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t stop with Isak and a CB.

If Diaz goes we’d be foolish to let Chiesa go without finding a replacement.
We’d be left with only Gakpo as a senior option on the left.

Where there’s smoke…

Let it burn boys!!!

This is the most amazing transfer season EVER.

If we’re looking to have our forwards tuck in more, then Wirtz can play on the left hand side can’t he?

We’ll see, I think Chiesa is leaving almost surely and Elliott might still stay. But both might go. Even if there is a formation change, we’d be still a bit short (and to create a “2nd XI”, you’d have to involve some kids like Nyoni and Ngumoha).

Yes, however we all thought that last season would be a transition season so I’ve no issue with that coming a year and a league title later

Problem is I don’t think these have been particularly planned for.

Trent probably and Quansah maybe then Nunez, Elliott and a LB

The signings so far probably reflect that bar probably Wirtz.
