Even allowing for the possibility that it might be legitimate (it isn’t) you can’t throw two billion pounds at something and then say, after the fact, “From this point on we are a going concern as a profitable club.”

They report sell out crowds all the time too. That’s something else that is illegitimate. We see loads of empty light blue seats on the TV, and from people closer to the situation, it is a known fact that they peddle cheap tickets to students in an effort to try to rent a crowd.
Whole thing is a sham.

I have to be honest, as much as I am enjoying City’s poor form, I almost want it to stop, so I don’t have to put up with Pep’s ‘all about me’, ‘life is so tough at the moment’ bleating.

The interesting thing is this season is rapidly turning from it just being a pleasant and unexpected failure, to one that ends an era with them needing a clear out to start again. And in this era of cost controls, even with the limitations of it, that is a lot harder to do in one go than it was 15 years ago. Especially as so many of their players they might otherwise look to raise money by selling are in the process of winding down their contract reducing their sell on value even more. Add in the complications from the 130 charges, and they may really struggle to retool the way they are increasingly looking like they need to do.

I’ve heard a couple of reports that state any punishment coming their way, will be at the end of 2025/26 season.
If that snippet is correct, they have two more chances of qualifying for the CL before they get sentenced…!!!
Surely they can’t be allowed this privilege…
In theory, they could be playing in the CL, while in the first division… 
Maybe there is a method in the madness for delaying the outcome… it is to allow them to qualify for the CL…!
Even if that report is slightly skew-whiff… and punishment is dished out at the end of this season… theoretically, they could still be in the CL next season if they finish top 4.
