Manchester City* - 130 charges (and counting...) (Part 2)

Sadly, the mancs still sell a lot more shirts in the world than us. That probably explains the difference.

However, nothing justifies a one billion-deal with Cheaty, that’s why I strongly suspect that there is something foul behind this deal. Once more.

And for those who still believe that justice will finally prevail: what about the charges against this plague of a club? Still nothing? Oh, how surprising…

I think ours might be 60m guaranteed plus some percentage of revenue from shirt sales.

Might end up being 75-80m at the end per year. Who knows.

This shirt deal is something that a lot of biggest clubs can be envious of but the thing that concerns me is that it probably signals that people in industry know that Man City will get off lightly from their charges. I saw a few articles discussing that and it’s a bleak prospect for the rest of the football, especially seeing a precedent of sorts set when Abramovich wrote off Chelsea’s debt and Chelsea continuing like nothing happened.

if people in the Industry know that Man City will get off lightly, then journalists would also know about this, and it would be out in the open,

i think its more a case of Man City carry on as before like nothings happened, until the verdict is announced.

Also, do we know the T&C’s of the new shirt contract?

Can Puma pull out at any time if Man City are hit hard and relegated or have point deductions for several seasons which could lead to relegation or no European football.

I mean, it could include a clause guaranteeing that a certain number of shirts are bought in the Middle East.

I said before due to the PL being different from the EFL it would be a season at most for them.

Considering it takes several seasons for a brand to fall off this would be a blip for them.

Only if they got stuck down there would they struggle but they won’t. Enough top stars will hang around.

I do find it odd they use him as a model.

Like Grealish is doing fuck all else.

Even when he’s playing Isn’t Haaland usually just stood around doing nothing most of the time - might as well make use of his skills as a dummy
