I think ‘finality’ will only come into it vis a vis City and the PL. They wont be able to consider the impact of satellite litigation in these decision, not formally at least.
The actual proper operation of law here would be the scenarios you describe, there could even be more, say from LFC and Manure, having lost titles, but also the lost opportunity to celebrate them, would support huge damages claims at City. but as we know, money is the law, so I am expecting a fudged decision, covering over even further high level illegal payments, bound with promises, that we really wont do it again. I mean Mr PL we dont want to damage the reputation of the game do we…hunky dory no one saw a thing.
