Marc Guehi (CB) Crystal Palace

Co-signed.

Waiting patiently…

Probably comes from before that - wasn’t he a member of the Wimbledon side in 86 and Palace in 89 that beat us in the FA cup?

The media narrative has been the second half of the summer we are the bad boys in these deals. Its why Sky revelled in Newcastle kicking the crap out of everything that moved in red last week.

I’ll tell you now, it won’t be.

Our transfer window is obviously a shock for many of our rivals, one they’ll have to digest first. I mean, I still can’t believe everything that’s happened this summer.

Man U have do So MANY deals like these, taking a team’s best player and the media (especially Sky) reaction was “When ManU come calling you can’t say no”

Keane, Ferdinand, Carrick, Berbatov, Rooney

But when we act like a champion club we’re the bad guys? After being absolutely above the board and none of these Real Madrid snide tactics?

Fuck right off.

From last year, but somehow there’s a Luke Edwards tweet :rofl: Newcastle’s nearly team is approaching Wenger levels

He was never involved with Wimbledon, but he scored the winner for Palace in that semi

Not seen the modern Liverpool FC do two signings on their media but they will have to do so here.

Should get them all surrounded around Slot like the old Houllier photo.

Didn’t we win a kind of treble? Not that many of the players in that photo did much. Câmara scored some legendary goals mind and wasn’t Hyypia in it?

Reported now 35m deal for Guehi agreed. This is great. Our defence should be set now. Van Dijk, Konate, Gomez, Guehi, Leoni. That’s some good depth and a young prospect to grow.

I thought it was with Diao and the spitting twat.

Can’t be overstated how important it is to have kept Gomez. His versatility, experience, and leadership will bring massive value in both the cups and the business end of the season.

This was literally a perfect window, and I never want to hear a bad word said about FSG again. They’ve resurrected this club and put us right back on top where we belong.
