That was my overwhelming feeling when I read Peterson’s book. Absolutely nothing compelling or original.

this really cannot be surprising, yet every generation needs their own voice to relate to.
I personally don’t have a lot of respect for Rogan and am on the fence with Peterson. But the essence of what they’re saying isn’t that far removed from Sun Tzu’s teachings. Just a different interpretation of the same message for a different time.
I don’t even mean to that extent. I mean, really basic stuff that even the least deep of thinkers should at least be able to think up and retain/reject by themselves.
If they’ve been useful to you, then great I guess.

then give me an example of something that 
for you that you’ve read.
Mine was the interpretation of the Tibetan Book of the Dead by an anthropologist/guide when I was on Fraser Island.
“The western conscious mind cannot comprehend the meaning of 50% of that book. But to read it anyways and don’t try to understand it. Just read it. And when it comes time for your subconscious to need the info in that book at the time of your last breaths, it will be there.”
I don’t thnk there’s anything I’ve read that I could describe as mindblowing.

Nothing even slightly suprising, never mind mindblowing, about a right winger being exposed as a hypocrite that also deflects from their own kink/fetish by repeatedly speaking out about it and ultimately dabbles in a bit of homosexual infidelity

Why is taking the bins out a job for men?
