The floor’s yours.
That was my overwhelming feeling when I read Peterson’s book. Absolutely nothing compelling or original.
.
this really cannot be surprising, yet every generation needs their own voice to relate to.
I personally don’t have a lot of respect for Rogan and am on the fence with Peterson. But the essence of what they’re saying isn’t that far removed from Sun Tzu’s teachings. Just a different interpretation of the same message for a different time.
I don’t even mean to that extent. I mean, really basic stuff that even the least deep of thinkers should at least be able to think up and retain/reject by themselves.
If they’ve been useful to you, then great I guess.
then give me an example of something that for you that you’ve read.
Mine was the interpretation of the Tibetan Book of the Dead by an anthropologist/guide when I was on Fraser Island.
“The western conscious mind cannot comprehend the meaning of 50% of that book. But to read it anyways and don’t try to understand it. Just read it. And when it comes time for your subconscious to need the info in that book at the time of your last breaths, it will be there.”
I don’t thnk there’s anything I’ve read that I could describe as mindblowing.
I dress up as a black lesbian on Friday nights, campaign against eating meat then sleep with Tony Blair.
Nothing even slightly suprising, never mind mindblowing, about a right winger being exposed as a hypocrite that also deflects from their own kink/fetish by repeatedly speaking out about it and ultimately dabbles in a bit of homosexual infidelity
if he gets caught, you can bet his Missus won’t spank him.
Can you please explain that which I have repeatedly spoken out about?
Wish my missus would!
While thinking about Theresa May’s legs!
Your missus does spank me!
You and your memory.
Can I put a new kitchen in the flat I’m renting in your head please?
Sorry, it’s just someone confessing to being turned on by Theresa May does tend to stick there. I’ve tried bleach but it just won’t wash away.
try gasoline and a match.
Why is taking the bins out a job for men?
Is it because we’re smelly and dirty? or is it because we are so muscular and strong?
or have we been duped?
And if taking the bins out is a man’s job, what is the equivilent women’s job?
Or am I being sexist for expecting women to have to do work?
