There was a game at Anfield once when the fog really descended onto the pitch… hard to see 10metres…
The Kop and the Anfield Road end started singing to each other what was happening at their end of the pitch :0)
It became known as the fog game

Seems to be about the level of that Forest game in the second half.
Used to be that the ref could see both goals from the centre of the pitch, but may be different in the Prem league due to TV audiences
Seems worse the higher up you are.
This is the pitch side level.
Whether the audience can see anything is another matter. I think the cameras are now aligned with the lower tier if it was the old ones it wouldn’t be bother watching. 
Can see it being the yellow or orange ball.
