Was it a cross or shot, he was looking at Jota’s run
Less than 30 goals scored, and only single digit GD.
But I bet still on top, just not as dominant
Fascinating this year how much Mo has taken on his shoulders in terms of media. He’s stepped up incredibly well and seems to say the right thing every time.
Still top, but not by as much.
One of our all time greats, simply incredible to watch him in red all these years! But also incredible how he thrives in Slot’s system. Back to peak form.
You could have pasted that for how many games this season? Imagine if we didn’t need a half time team talk (regularly) to polish off matches? I digress though…next?
Fantastic win for us after that lousy start. Yet again, our lads manage to turn things around. Add to this the floundering of a big part of our rivals today, and it’s pretty much the perfect Christmas gift. Seven points ahead with a game in hand. It couldn’t be much better!
@GermanRed where is my west ham thread?
It was a shot in my opinion. Looking at his eyes he saw Jota, the defence and GK were expecting it to go to Jota. Salah used this to gain an advantage.
Judging by the people on show, it must have been Dutch TV… :0)

FT: Liverpool 3-1 Leicester
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, speaking to Amazon Prime: "It is a good result they were very tough in the first half and in the second half the way they prepared themselves they were very good.
"We managed to score three goals and it was a great result.
On Cody Gakpo’s equaliser: "Great. It gives us confidence in the second half to go win the game. 1-0 down and you need to focus on equalising.
"He scored a great goal.
“It is something he practices a lot in training. It was a great finish from him.”
On scoring 100 home goals in the Premier League: “Something I am very proud of. We keep working hard and hopefully I can go a bit further.”
On his form: "The most important thing is the team winning - hopefully we win the Premier League.
"It is great, but we focus on each game and hopefully we carry on like that.
"It feels different, but the most important thing is we need to stay humble.
“This one is very special, hopefully we win the Premier League and for this club it is something I dream of.”
Maybe great play as he gave them the eyes, we will never know
Mo dropping in the interview that we need to “stay humble”
Job done. Three points.
The performance wasn’t great, but it was enough to beat Leicester. First half we seemed rushed in our work. Second half we settled down, played more football and ran out worthy winners.
Don’t know who the ref was, but I thought he had a poor game, letting them waste loads of time and giving them free kicks when they flopped and dived.
Good win, that
Thats just a lazy take from them we haven’t had key players injured for a length of time.
