On the bbc sport app they even blamed Father Christmas as he must be a scouser?

Good win against a shower of diving, injury-feigning twats. Really hope they go down and stay down this time.
For their goal it looked a clear dive for the free-kick which led to it, then it was taken in the wrong place and the ball looked to be moving from my view-point, all good with the useless ref though. Then the prick adds on 2 minutes when it should have been over 5. To be fair he stopped buying their blatant diving 2nd half.
Be difficult to drop Gakpo after that display so will be interesting to see who starts through the middle at West Ham. Shame Szlobo was booked as he was probably pencilled in to start but we have good strength in midfield atm and should be ok.
All in all couldn’t have asked for much more from the Boxing Day fixtures.

Szob willbe fresh for Man U and his speed against their slow midfield will be devastating

Yeah even the ref gave up on their diving in the second.

I think they had one foray into our half in the whole second.

Bar the goal it couldn’t have been an easier game.

Elliott will probably take that place if anything I guess.

Grav, Macca, Jones.

Why isn’t there a post match thread?

@Mascot told us he had other plans, and nobody else could be bothered.

You’re good at doing polls and shit, Cynnie. Why not give it a go?

Because I can’t be asked.

I don’t give a flying fuck.

Being proven right on the internet really isn’t that important to me.

The first half and their goal in particular left a very sour taste; complacent, lackadaisical defending which takes place in every game now. Many point to Robertson but he put in the effort, he just got beaten.

What Van Dijk does though is infuriating. No excuse for him trotting back nonchalantly. He is the captain, he sets the tone and if this is how he approaches his own duties, it’s no wonder that the team’s defensive record has taken a nosedive in the past few games.

Slot mentioned that we concede on every chance we give up, but it’s not surprising given the quality of the chances we allow. Despite Leicester doing nothing all game long, they would have scored 2 goals had Daka not whiffed a sitter.

This approach to defending where at times we seem to feel that it’s optional, is unsustainable in the long run.

Making the comeback to collect all 3 points was never in doubt, we are leagues better than them. But that won’t always be the case, especially if we keep sabotaging ourselves.

Don’t the regulars have permissions to create one?

@The-AllMightyReds ?

I would create it but I haven’t figured out how to create the players of the match poll
