Well all hell broke loose last night.
Put the little one to bed and left when he was snoring. He woke 5 minutes later and didn’t sleep at all until early hours.
Meanwhile I finished up the wrapping, extracting a new bike from the garden shed without killing myself, and then sat down and watched the end of Godzilla king of the monsters. Defo the right movie choice. Nothing like a huge radioactive monster trouncing skyscrapers in a WWE style battle to unwind. Then had to munch a mince pie carefully leaving strategic crumbs before trying to force down the biggest God damn carrot known to man that the little one had chosen for the reindeer. So there’s me at midnight resembling Mr Creosote with the dog while pair of us feast on this bloody carrot.
