I love playing Brighton.
In fairness, those two account for 50 odd years between them. Next longest serving was Ron Atkinson with about 5.
I disagree. You canāt have the outgoing manager dictating coaching choices to the incoming manager. And I imagine plenty would have chosen to leave when Ferguson left anyway.
What they needed was some proper support in place for Moyes. A proper CEO, DoF, recruitment and scouting team. And the understanding that the squad needed rebuilding and that required some patience and proper planning.
Instead they floundered around with endless failed bids before scrambling to get Fellani over the line on deadline day. That was the first big sign that theyād not calculated the size of the power vacuum left by Ferguson properly and Moyes was doomed from the start.
In the period between Busby and Fergie and after Fergie they have had 12 full-time managers in 19 years winning 7 trophies

Yeah. You cannot stop people leaving when they decide its their time, but it was a catastrophe that Gill left at the exact same time as Fergie. The vacuum that left was enormous.
Moyes was in a difficult situation with the coaching staff as he was conscious of needing to be his own man but not wanting to throw away valuable club knowledge. He made the decision to ask the first team coach, the Dutch guy whose name I cannot remember, but after initially seeming up for it ended up deciding he and Moyes was a bad fit so walked. By time time Phealan and Steele had already been let go so Moyes ended up with a whole new staff. He had to carry that tag around with him, that he had arrogantly conducted a purposeful ācleaning house of Fergieās peopleā, despite that not being the intention.
Now, if you are run so poorly that you cannot even retain the staff you already have, imagine how badly youāre going to fuck up strengthening the side in areas the new manager identifies as priorities.
It wasnāt just Gilll leaving it was the appointment of Ed Woodward who didnāt have a clue.

If Ferguson had told Moyes to turn up on his first day wearing a clown wig Moyes would have asked what colour.
And I imagine plenty would have chosen to leave when Ferguson left anyway.
Yep.
Nothing stopping anyone leaving, even Taggart.
I reckon Moyes had a lot of huge egos to deal with when he joined, familiar backroom staff might have helped keep that in check.

Well he can always go back to the tried and tested method of hiring ex players. It had been successful always for half a season after sacking the previous ex player for being shite after being successful for half a season previous.

Fucking wild that Opta has them at 18% to go down.

Only a given if Car-wreck stays. Otherwise new manager bounce and all that.

I know Peaches has a thing for her, but what a total charisma vacuum.
Peaches is weird.
Some sick fantasies that he has.
Not only does she have one of the most slappable faces Iāve ever seen, she somehow also manages to have a slappable voice.
I donāt actually mind some of her takes, but generally itās just too much like hard work making it through one of her videos.
Oh I got 20 seconds in and had to stop. Weird voice, weird mouth⦠I am sure she is lovely.
