Neville saying he knows many of them are unprofessional as he spends time in Manchester. Just name them. Say who it is. Get it out there. Put them under pressure.

He can fuck off with this shit. They are now supposedly so unprofessional, something that is knowable to any general resident of manchester just by being present in the same city as these unprofessional oiks, that its unreasonable to expect them to perform properly. Yet only a few months ago he was prognosticating that under Carrick, with largely this group of players Utd were on the up and better positioned than Liverpool were.

Told ya. The reaction of the crowd after the game was inexplicable and the punditry took their cue from that. Clueless fucks all round, it seems.

I don’t think it is a mistake. Dumping a manager is window-dressing that provides cover for organizational dysfunction. Of course, I still think he gets heaved over the side somewhere around early December.

Probably something like loses the first one or two after the international break and then gone

Getting rid of him will achieve nothing. It won’t make them better. The players are shite, the owners have spent over a billion and now they have to shop at the reduced section in tesco. Overpriced, almost past it’s use by date, tat.

They then find that all the items they buy on 3 different days cannot be combined.
Rinse and Repeat .

Soon they will be at the food bank enquiring about getting some products transferred in for free with a voucher.

You can find a fair few posts who said these players were excellent buys and that’s beyond Nikola.

Anyhow Goldbridge and the others can go on about it all they want he was never getting the sack if he survives the international break it’s even more amusing but I expect that will be when he goes. After all that’s 3 games he has.

I think Carrick is a pretty ordinary manager hiding in plain sight because everything else is a shit show as well. It is perfectly plausible that changing him isn’t a magic bullet but at the same time, keeping him on is pretty much a guarantee of mediocrity even if the hierarchy suddenly morphs into FSG.

The penny is starting to drop with United fans that the manager position is not the source of the dysfunction at United.

Sure. Sack Carrick. He’s obviously shite, but it won’t make any difference.

Oh he’s not great. Middlesbrough showed that it’s just I don’t expect the club would sack him at this point. We haven’t even left October only the knee jerk ones who go through marriages like milk and bread tend to at this point.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it takes till December.

Obviously United’s recent times were largely unsuccessful, but we also can’t pretend like they were equally bad in all seasons and under all coaches. Because they weren’t. There’s a difference between finishing 2nd/3rd or in the CL places and bloody 15th or whatever. Winning some trophies or not. And I’m not saying Carrick should stay because they finished 3rd last season.

Nobody on this planet knows exactly everything that needs to change and when it will all click in terms of them winning the biggest prizes again (it will come one day), but in the mean time of course that some bigger or smaller steps need to be taken. Improvements are possible, we’ve seen that a few times, but then continual progression (also knowing it’s very rarely linear) is where they have struggled.

There’s a good chance that we are the ones who will deliver the coup de grĆ¢ce.

Don’t listen to this berk, Mr. Wilcox. Carrick has the nouse and tenacity to turn this around. Stick with him all the way until May!

I genuinely do not get the surprise that they’ve ended up this way. They go on about DNA.. well this is who they are.
They blame the owners and the manager but their history is awash with money wasting and putting faith in average but not good/great players (with the odd exception)
As a supporter base and as a club they have learned nothing, they appear to truly believe that football began in 1992.
It won’t be too long before they aren’t represented that well in mainstream punditry and then hopefully the great myth about them being the biggest club in the world will fuck off for a good few years.

Rooney and Maguire as pundits on the same station will be the ultimate death.
