Michael Car-wreck's at the wheel! It's the Manchester Untied thread

I am shocked that more isn’t being made about how much of this hole they are in has been dug by the “best in class” talent they brought in from City. I’ve seen people question Berrada on the basis that he got the job due to his expertise in commercial success and football, as if its the football bit that is bring him down. Bitch, how can you make a name for yourself as the person who led City’s “commercial growth” and still be taken seriously after the PL’s report?

He has a fake CV, and has not only been directly involved in the hiring of their last two managers, his commitment to his preference for Amorim in opposition to Ashworth led to the exit of the first well respected football executive they’ve had in the place for the past 15 years.

And Wilcox…he played for the Blackburn side that beat Utd to the title and Leeds, and then established himself in his post-playing career at City. It would be less inappropriate to hire the guy you caught shagging your mum.

I wonder if Utd could sack him without a payoff on the basis of the PL’s findings?

‘Is the downturn over the early months of this season just a blip? Or is the current malaise, one point above the relegation places after one win in the first eight games, just the latest part of a debacle that actually goes all the way to the top of the club and has its roots in bad ownership, bad leadership, bad culture, bad planning, bad appointments, bad recruitment, bad management and, frequently, bad football?’

Can you guess which one it is ?

Chelsea bringing the curtain down on Carrick’s reign.

It was nice while it lasted…

I’ve very little sympathy for any United manager but I’m almost beginning to feel sorry for Carrick.

First they miss a host of chances, then get one disallowed, then Rodgers just wanders straight through the entire team to score and then Martinez does that. The bloke who was slagging the club off two weeks ago does something totally moronic.

Even the keeper gives it some limp wrist on the penalty to just steer it into the corner.

How does Carrick plan for or mitigate for any of that? And with 20 to go it looks like they could lose their heads and it get even worse.

Very nice! Keep him on until we play them though please Mr Wilcox

Chelsea tried their best to let United escape with a win and Martinez still did his shit.

At this point , they probably deserve it.

Amazing they’re still able to set these kind of records on the back of Amorim’s reign…

He’ll become a yeti

Which was Whiskey nose first full season in charge.

Since he left 11 full or temp managers in 13 years.

So what you’re saying is there’s a compelling reason to keep Carrick as he could be the new Fergie?

Get on the blower to Sir Jim!

“Utd are not a sacking club”

Somehow, despite all evidence otherwise, I wish that would become the case today.

Shame they lost. He might go.

Any manager with an actual pedigree would be mental to take on that job after seeing how badly run they’ve been for the last 15 years or so.

Even Conte should be seriously thinking twice about the potential damage to his reputation from managing this shower of shite. If Emery is smart he’ll stay well clear. Their squad needs a complete overhaul on the magnitude of what Klopp had to do for us. The problem is they don’t have any talents you can build around like we had with Hendo, Firmino, etc
