I feel that way about Woodburn too and there really is only space for one of them.
Sell him for half a million… that’s Mbappé’s first week’s wages covered.
I think its a real shame Ojo didn’t progress. It was quite exciting when he initially broke through and had a couple of games with the first team a few years back. I really thought he would have become at least a regular first team squad player.
wasnt it you who suggested the issue was with the guys application during training?
do we really want that around…maybe he can pair up with Millie for a bit…
Thought the under 21 rule was 21 or under on the 1st Jan in the year the season starts in? So Woodburn would actually count as under 21 for this season?
Players need to have been born on or after 1 January 2000 to be eligible for List B (UEFA Reg 45.11). Ben was born on 15 October 1999.

No, I’ve always defended him against those claims. He runs like he’s lying down which gives an impression of laziness but I think he’s actually a pretty hard worker.
I’ve said something along those lines about Ojo. My impression is that he was levels above everyone else as a youngster that he began to coast. He found it all too easy and I don’t feel he was challenged enough between the age of 14 and 18.
I kind of feel he lost a bit of motivation during that period to kick on and since then he’s been content with maintaining a certain level which, whilst decent, isn’t maximising his full potential.
I don’t think he’s lazy, per se, more that he’s lost the drive to take the next step. If he’d had Cristiano Ronaldo’s drive, for example, he had everything needed to be elite.
Sheyi Ojo is a curious case. He did well during his loan spells at Rangers and Cardiff. I thought he would find a SPL/Championship club early in the window. The price-tag is modest too.
Was it him or Ejaria the rangers fans turned on because he pulled out of tackles?

It was Ejaria, said he didn’t like Scottish football as it was too physical and not very technical.
Not a knock on Ejaria by the way, he’s become a very good Championship player.
Mikey has let us down.
Only £500k off Shaqiri (along with @Iftikhar and @norwegian_wood)
Had shaq for 5m… which means I think I’m no longer busted, be probably still 1 player behind
Transfermarkt currently have Shaq at £5.4m.
Update with around 24 hours to go…
Players out:
Wilson £12.60m
Grujic £10m
Awoniyi £5.85m
Shaqiri £5.40m
Grabara £3.15m
Millar £1.35m
Nobody has all six, as nobody had Liam Millar.
Six of you have five correct players. From those five, Mikey has raised a total of £37.0m
So, as things stand, the placings are:
@Iftikhar 33m
@Mascot 32m
@Hope.in.your.heart 20m
@RedOpium 44m
@Prolix 48m
@Nikola 49.5m
Can Iftikhar hold onto his lead? Or will there be last-minute drama?
Shaq sale price is very disappointing. Is Edwards actually @Iftikhar in disguise?
Sadly no last minute drama for LFC. I am afraid we might be turning into a big club with a small club mentality. We have need another striker for so long it is hard to believe. Thank goodness for Harvey Elliot. Pity we do not have a young striker of similar calibre.

But it’s not an accident that we have Elliott. We specifically bought him and created a pathway for him for this reason.
Very true but it was unlikely that he would have been as good as he has been. As good as he did last season no one could have expected him to look like a first team regular so soon.
Hopefully our attacking players can produce the magic again but a little variation would have ben nice.
