Mohamed SALAH: 2021/22

I think there is a good balanced discussion. I don’t buy into that narrative of disrespect, it’s always club before player, no exceptions.

Quite possibly yes. Fingers crossed there’s a compromise over the summer but looking more unlikely :frowning:

Have I got the timing right here? Mbappé’s message that he will remain at PSG came before Salah’s ‘I’m definitely staying next season’ comments?

PSG are one of the very few clubs who could afford to pay a transfer fee on a player like Salah with only 1 year left on his contract and also meet his wage demands. I do wonder if Salah was PSG’s fallback if Mbappé left…

I think its more likely that Mo just answered the question asked of him of the journo during the presser.

What? No intrigue?

Far too much talk has ruined you since Jan Mo. Come back refreshed next season, we need you back in god mode please.

He can stick his demands up his hole. Take his 220k and get back to form cause he’s in for a big pay day when he leaves on a free

Totally agree with this

You’re pathetic.

AFCON changed him, a drop of 70% in goals to games ratio.

One of the oldest rules in the world - talk is cheap.

There is an even older rule - talk is even cheaper when your on a very bad run of form.

We’ve lost two finals against Real (who never lost a final in Europe) and they kicked us out of the competition last year.

Will he talk about revenge again when we face them in the group for example?

Mo hasn’t been the same since AFCON.
He needs a summer of rest .

Is this like when Sky invented football?

I think he will come back fresh, good thing is he has the ability to concentrate solely on the club for the next 12 months. He can make a decision where to go but I do wonder if he heads to Madrid after the comments but then who else is there bar PSG.

Maybe Barca come in for him who knows. But that’s for another time. I have no doubt he will go next summer but I do feel he will leave us feeling a little glum that he is off and not thinking ah well it’s good he is off.

At least we know that we have a year to find and adequate replacement. If he starts the season without signing a new contract we can hopefully enjoy his last season with us.

PFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR…21/22 season…not a shite in sight…

I think it’s gone under the radar, that Mo’s goal against City at Anfield, has been voted Goal of the Season.
