Mohamed SALAH: 2021/22

A lot of talk about contract negotiations with Mo, but you don’t hear a peep about negotiations with Mane or Firmino.

The club is trying to maintain a delicate balance here in how they pay one versus the other two (especially Mane).

Well, we’ll have to adapt to our limits it seems.

Not every player can get new contract at this age, but it seems like Klopp and the fans will maybe feel our limits how we work under these owners. Must be frustrating for him.

Not only with someone like Gini, but also with someone like Salah.

MO needs to censor that knob of an ‘agent’…

He was that for a couple of weeks at the start of the season. Recently he has looked a long long way off it.

I’d like to know exactly how much his ‘reasonable demands’ are. 300k , 400k , 500k ?

And as for he’d be happy to stay playing in the PL (today’s Guardian). That means either Utd , City or Chelsea. (or Newcastle ?!)

He just pissed on his chips as far as I’m concerned.

As Peaches said ; ’ Sell the cunt.’

I’d be ok with Salah riding out his contract. It gives us a clear path forward and time to plan accordingly. He has been great for us and hopefully will continue to be so till the end of 2023(?)!

If MO doesn’t get what he wants…
We have no guarantee his goal scoring form will remain intact if his head/heart is no longer with the club
So maybe best if he doesn’t sign… sell him on and put the funds into extending the capacity of the Kop

Mo Salah is of major importance to how we play.
We lost a CL final because he was assaulted early in the game. (Along with Karius to be fair.)

To replace him is impossible, to describe him as a cunt is grossly unfair.
He has been a contemporary legend and will go down in LFC history amongst the very best players at the club.
He is STILL a Liverpool player and I reckon its 50/50 as to him staying.
If we dont pay him City will. Newcastle will. !
FSG have decisions to make, I hope they pay him what he is worth.

Apologies. I was smashed when I wrote that last night. I’ll change it.
Don’t drink and post kids.
All what’s going on in the world an you have greedy agents out there trying to get every penny they can and it’s not like he’s on £500 pw. We are talking hundreds of thousands.

In a world where 20 year olds drive Bentleys and owners have luxurious yachts, and Arab oil barons throw money like confetti…
In that world we describe agents as “greedy”…football is based on greed nowadays and agents are just a product of it.

Behind every greedy agent there’s an even greedier player.

Agents message might not only be 'no, we’re not signing that contract offer‘ but also ‘let him sign for PSG this summer’ because who knows what happens until his contract expires (he is getting older, bad form, injuries, PSG might sign other players).

Agent is distracting his client and getting the Liverpool fans against him because mocking Klopp is a no go.

Hope it does not happen but if we don’t win today and Mo plays like he’s been doing in most games this year it might get ugly in media and on the internet today.

If we lose, and Mo doesn’t score and there is an unwarranted reaction…then the agents work is done.

If Mo doesn’t do something about his gobshite agent after this, then I will lose some respect for him I’m afraid. This is not the way to go about things, he’s been treated very well by the club since he arrived and is adored by the fans. Disrespecting Klopp like that, is not on and Mo has to get rid now, otherwise the fans will turn. This could also affect the run in.

Absolutely
Wouldn’t surprise me if Mo was on the bench today as a consequence

Grizz’s ITK bus is reversing……again

I’d rather sell him for 150 million this summer than a free the next summer.

Whether a club will splash 150 million who knows.

Good job PSG are losing their crown jewel on a free this summer and will want to make a statement signing I guess

I don’t think anyone gives us £150m for Salah this summer, when they could get him for free a year later.

To be honest, I don’t think he signs now. And I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that’s been the aim all along. These players are asking for too much money now and the get the kinds of wages they expect, they will need to be moving on frees.

I agree and you know what, Liverpool was already a giant of a club before Mo Salah arrived and will be when he leaves, if that is this summer, the next or even longer.

I will support him until the day he leaves.
