Salah is not Henderson or Fab. They were clearly falling off a cliff. Salahās stats are better than theyāve ever been! Heās on an elite level thatās only reached by a couple of players worldwide per decade. Also has an incredilbe physique and is never injured. Any comparisons are redundant

Prior to their last season, they werenāt falling off a cliff at least not to outside observers. On the contrary, they both signed new contracts, went on to have a great season with the team almost winning a quadruple, and then the bottom fell off. In Hendersonās case, his new contract was offered against the advice of the analytical department, which could see what was coming.
Anyway, the point Iām making is that the club has a lot more data to go on and the decision may not be as easy and clear cut as everyone seems to believe.

Given how much less snark and oblique comments have come from Mo and his agent this fall, and especially the past few weeks or so, Iād guess it is very close to sorted and agreed one way or another.

My biggest worry with Mo is that he always seems to come back a little bit worse for wear after AFCON.
At his age, who knows whether he recovers next time.

A good take on this stated here, is that MO is more or less just joining in with those around himā¦ IMO, no offence was meant, and hopefully, nor should it be taken - there is enough hate in the world.

Not getting into religion or anything here. But if heās willing to put his childrenās happiness over being a proper whatever , that shows what a good man he is.

Heās the most unrewarded player around.
From People rugby tackling him to the ground and not even getting a booking. Any foul on him at the penalty area isnt given as a penalty.
To not respecting him or his achievements. Even the African footballer of the year for instance. No disrespect to Lookman who had a great year but Salahās performance year on year for Liverpool are and were miles above what Lookman has ever produced.
I think he feels that at this time , all he wants to do is win more trophies for Liverpool. Anything else is purely incidental. He probably couldnāt care less for any Balon Dor etc etc.
Arsenal and Chelsea fans trying to put Saka and Palmer in that Salah bracket. Big percentage of their goals comes from penalty kicks.
Just a reminder that Mo was not our first choice penalty taker when Milner was on the pitch.

Both Palmer and Saka are cracking players. But Mo, as of now is leagues above.
We should have gotten Palmer though. That was a bargain price when he moved to Chelsea.
