I think Salah needs to give Slot big credit. His game has changed compared to last season. I havenā€™t checked the data yet, but I think Salah stays closer to the box now and conserves his energy more. In many games, it feels like he disappears for a while before suddenly scoring and assisting.

i know it wont go down to well in here, but to me hes playing with the freedom of a man who is enjoying his last lap of the PL with usā€¦

it looks like a weight lifted off his shoulders and hes just enjoying the moment, and its playing out in his performances

i think hes leaving at the end of the season and just loving and savouring everyminuteā€¦and the team are reaping the rewards

I get the calls to give Salah what he desires and hand on heart I want for it to happen too.

Itā€™s just thatā€™s itā€™s not as straightforward as it appears. Weā€™ve already been down this path with Henderson and Fabinho. We canā€™t afford to commit a 300k+ salary to someone who analytics and performance metrics may be suggesting that heā€™s about to lose his legs. Even if that someone is a legend, a top 3/5 player in our illustrious history.

For whatā€™s worth, I do believe that something will be worked out and heā€™ll stay, but even if he doesnā€™t; after managing to find a worthy successor to Jurgen freaking Klopp, I trust the management team to make the right moves for us to remain competitive.
