Just in time for Christmas, too.

Arne as Santa, slipping new conracts into stockings hung above the fireplace - Each stocking named Mo, Virgil and Trent[/quote]

Piss easy job this social media malarkey.

Now where’s my freelance social media money John?

Yes there is a rumour that the two parties had agreed a compromise of a 2 Year extension as the club was only offering one year and Abbas was negotiating for a 3 years extension, the money was never the stumbling block as he would have been on the same money. Virgil is not far off either same 2 year extension. There is no progress for Trent.

I read it in the mirror online I tried to drag the small article but couldn’t probably a clickbait? It did sort of make sense to me.
The BBC sports app have confirmed the rumour in their gossip column “Salah on the brink of Liverpool deal”

On TAN, an ITK by the name of Fred Gthered. It’s a bit hush hush so the details are sparse but the guy is connected: his second cousin is friends with an Anfield insider who filled in for Claire the cleaning lady and she heard that Mo was seen laughing after signing up to a two year discount deal for his ethically sourced fair trade arabica single origin coffee beans. It’s hard to argue that Mo would make such a significant commitment (you have to pay a redelivery surcharge if you change addresses, let alone clubs!) without first locking down his work future.

I find that hard to believe

Well done that man!

Unreliable but you never know.

Now level with Phil Neal at penalties scored for the club (38).

Ahead of them are Molby (42) and Gerrard (47).

Forced it a bit too much today, especially in the second half. Wanted to be “the one” too much.

Yes, he ignored a couple of overlaps and should have laid one off to Szob

Still produced a wonderful assist and gave Robinson, who was excellent, all kinds of trouble.

He certainly didn’t have the kind of performance to be complaining about.

An aspect of his performance, decisions in the final third, some of them weren’t good enough and were too individualistic.

Mo has been brilliant for us, so any criticism I’m about to give him now is in that context.

Today I thought he was playing for himself a little bit too much. I know, I know, all great strikers are selfish. I get that. But I just thought he gave the impression that he knows his own stats and wants to boost them. Also, a few times he was slightly off the pace and slightly not strong enough.

He didn’t have a stinker, far from that, but he has done so well, so often, that when he’s average it looks like a stinker by his own standards.

Was PL player of the month so probably did the same thing as the managers curse.

Yeah we won that too.

I know Slot has been praising Mo’s work defensively but in the last 2 games I cannot recollect Mo helping Trent defensively, Robinson just had the whole left side to attack the whole game, Mo never tracked him once that I can think of.

Becomes the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures for both goals and assists before Christmas.

Also becomes Liverpool’s fourth-highest goalscorer, overtaking the great Billy Liddell.

FSG: just pay the man.
