And didnāt have to endure the punishment Mo gets with the pulling and dragging on a match after match basis.
Shearer was Ingurland captain and Cole was Fergies boy, so both were untouchable.
What Mo Salah has achieved is phenomenal. He is in the conversation for the very best ever footballers to play in England, let alone our great club.

Mo has done so well and deserves all the credit he gets. He admits he has been excused of his defensive duties, and he has delivered offensively. All good. And for me, credit to the rest of the team to accommodate this. For example, Gravenberch shifting right mid to plug gaps when needed, and Konate covering acres of ground from the right centre back spot, etc.
Mo is brilliant and he deserves all the credit he gets. But Iām also looking at the team doing its thing to give him that platform.

And Slot. So many people have been convinced a strict philosophy is needed to be tactically adept. Slot has an idea of what effective football looks like, but that does not dictate all of his decisions. Not when the other team are doing something we can exploit with a tweak, or when the game is going in a direction that we need to address. And not when we have a special player who can be elevated with another tweak.

Have to be honest, amongst our famous trio of attackers, Bobby, Mane and him, I expected him to leave first. But he ended up, showing that he really wants to stay and showed that he deserves to stay. Legend status no doubt for the achievements and his attitude.
