I do think he put Slot in a shitty position in December however he has been up this season the model professional.

I think since his December outburst its been quite unlikely that he would be back next year. If that is certain, than it is good to give him a proper farewell these last few games and he has and absolute legend for us.

Feels like the right time. His influence has wained and the team is evolving. Such a shame not to go out on the highest of highs but his contribution to the club will be talked about for decades. You canāt do anything but wish him well and hope heās welcomed back in the future.
I guess one question is whether this is a mutual parting of the ways, a sale already agreed or us paying him off to unburden us of the contract for another season.
