Imagine we stuck with Keita or Ox for 8 years. No guarantee wonder kid become world class player, Injury, bad form, different manager preference, footballs tactics change. They stuck with Lukaku already.

Iād be wary of paying that for anyone frankly with our injury track record. Plus looking at that list of expensive transfers itās almost all duds.
The only reason I kind of wanted a deal done is Iād rather concentrate on the football and I believe itās the major piece missing for us.
Sure a CB may be required but we need to get this done first.

Do you think the last 5-6 weeks have been well planned by the club? When do you think Caicedo became a top target for the clubā¦before or after Chelsea had their 80m bid rejected considering the work to find targets shouldāve happened during the season. Thereās always an excuse people are gonna find to justify our actions, youāll find something even if Chelsea sign both players and act like everything was fine.
