Caicedo for £90m or Lavia and Fofana for £90m?
Not sure its that plausible - RM had the cash last summer, and his price would have fallen to balance any spending.
More likely they are planning to pick him up for free next year.
I think this multi club ownership model is taking the piss now if Chelsea are trying to buy the whole of Brighton
If the ITKs generally know how it lies then the latter but I do feel it’s a lot of guess work especially from our end from them.
They were making it clear the mystery bid wasn’t us and now all of a sudden we’ve shown some interest and put a bid in. We evidently fancied him last summer.
Let’s see how it plays out, I doubt anything is fine for tomorrow. And though Chelsea may have fancied dropping them straight in Klopp isn’t that dumb. Yes Gakpo did but that’s because the alternative was a forward line of Ox and Tsimikas it had got that dire.
Must be hopeful.

LOL. There were lots of comments last season along the lines of “imagine how good this brighton side would be if they had someone better than Danny Welbeck to score the goals their play deserved.”

All this talk about him having his heart set on Chelsea, his heart was set on Arsenal in January. He can be swayed.

I asked the person who answered the phone “Do you have a player called Moses Caceido?” To which he answered “yes we do”.
I said “Thanks very much” and ended the call.

It seems like Liverpool have the funds in place to complete a club record deal for Moises Caicedo, should they get a chance to land him. -
