Moises Caicedo (DM/CM/RB) Brighton and Hove Albion

@odin_telamon

There is something really “not” right about Chelseas dealings. Really underhand.

Yeah that’s what I think we are all feeling and seeing, but it’s not just us, on redcafe as much as they dislike us, even the mancs are questioning how they can be allowed to get away with it.

The way I see it… Not exactly an auction per se, more a closed tender situation…! With a cut off time…!!
This may go down the road of litigation… every minute detail counts.
We have told Brighton we want the player, they seem to have accepted our proposal package… (a contract is now in place…!!) - so where the fuck is the player…??
If he does not want to play for us, his option is he goes back to his parent club - If Chelsea come back in and offer the £80m again - Brighton have forfeited the balance between LFC offer and the Chelsea one…
The clock is ticking, the window closes in two weeks, the player in theory, is AWOL… If Brighton sell to Chelsea, after already accepting our offer… they may end up on sticky ground with the lawyers of John Henry…!
That’s the way I have interpreted it anyway :man_shrugging:
It is to be remembered, we have done nothing wrong here… Jurgen putting it out in his interview for all to hear… could well have been done to aid any claim we make against anyone further down the road…!

Who is going to do something about it, the FA has just started an investigation into the Abramovich years. Before those fossils are awake enough to get on this we could be 10 years down the road.

so whats the latest

We all slept twice, watched the opening game of the season and Kane’s joined Bayern and we’re still waiting for the Chelsea “bid”.

Same as 20 hours ago.

Same as yesterday - a lot of speculation still.

Another benefit of us dragging this over the line is that it would make Fabrizio look a proper tit.

There will probably be no further updates until after the chelsea match or early next week. The waiting is torture.

It is making his sources pretty obvious. Just feeding out the Chelsea side of the story as fact, clearly getting nothing from Liverpool.

Agree, plus a few others seem to have been found out imo.

How they can write stuff and Liverpool have not said a word …seems to expose them as charlatans, but as you say romano has been found to be a league in his own

This needs to be resolved now because Carragher is so embarrassed, he won’t leave his house.

Agreed, unless Brighton put any pressure on Chelsea to submit a bid. Chelsea are happy to wait, and will drag this on as long as they can. Clearly looking for funds. Not sure on our stance.

still no bid??? but but but last night they said bid was in? lol

You can probably copy and paste my answer about Fofana as they are pretty similar. Not talented enough to he the man playing the killer pass but is asked to do it by his current team so passing stats are awful without a great payoff (1.51 key passes per 90).

However hes pretty good everywhere else so you’d have to decide if the passing is his fault or a system issue.

My other concern would he that Merino has played in the PL before and couldn’t handle the pace.

It’s possible, the doors been left open for interpretation.

Absolutely loving this from our perspective though, simply because if he does go to Chelsea …we all know that Jürgen and John Henry are going to be scathing in their attacks about how skewed the transfer market is and how the premier league has done nothing.

That would be a bonus, saw the pre-match yesterday and he is so far up Cheaty’s ass we can only see his feet …

Can we drag it out till at least December then save us from his commentary.
