Moises Caicedo (DM/CM/RB) Brighton and Hove Albion

Do you mean X?

£5m fine incoming. It will surely make them think twice about breaking FFP rules again…

FIFY

Of course! Only to resurface in a few years time when Madrid come sniffing

No, me nan’s brick outhouse.

Of course I mean X

Id say he got permission before any bid was accepted. Until he has a contract with liverpool I presume he can still talk to Chelsea.

Think this might be a decision for another day further down the line…
Facts need to be laid out to all, including the fans, because ultimately, it is us that will either accept him and drag him aboard, or we will forever have our back turned against him.
Got a feeling it would suit all other parties concerned (apart from us obviously), if LFC walked away now… Personally, I want LFC to remain in the hunt, for it is for others to unravel the mess that has been of their own making

The only one of the three they’ve bid for is Caicedo, and that was 80 mil. Since then, in journo speak, they’ve “stepped up their interest” in Olise and Lavia, and even gone as far as “preparing to make a bid” with Lavia and Caicedo. In real terms, so far (obviously still might change), they’ve done the sum total of fuck all and expected us to buckle.

Agreed personal terms but not a fee. I imagine they aren’t making many friends the way they’re approaching players.

… or even the way they are approaching the agents of these players

This guy from Ecuador might even be a bit more reliable than that Chelsea mouthpiece FabrizioRomano in this case tbf

I guarantee Caicedo hasn’t been steering this ship.

If we get him and he gives his all whilst wearing the shirt, the last 48hrs will not enter my mind for a second.

He rose a bit in credibility in my books… Can’t remember Anfield Edition being right about things.

If we have an agreement with Brighton and there is no bid from Chelsea why isn’t Caicedo here for medical?

All this just makes you realise how much more having Mac and szbo joining with no real issues means .

I hope they get special joy when they walk out in our first home game.

Dithering players who may join have to earn the special rapturous adulation from the Kop.

I don’t think Szobo or Mac got their medical done within 24 hours of an accepted bid did they?

Don’t think so.

Keita was here for ages and we never finished it :joy:
