I was listening to Linekerās podcast yesterday and had to give up due to Shearerās know-nothing bullshit. Great player and all that but he doesnāt appear to actually know the rules of the game.
TBH, Iām rather disappointed by the Lineker podcast. His other shows have always featured people with an inside perspective on the subject but this just appears to be his MotD pals having a laugh because they arenāt allowed to say āfuckā on the BBC.

Itās not good. Itās just sort of like the MotD banter taken further. Some of the other āThe Rest isā¦ā podcasts work quite well because they have someone with an insiders view of the subject, but this just comes over as some old Sunday league players talking shite in the pub.

I assume promoting a podcast on a tv advert needs that video imagery.
Regardless any time he appears I mute, I see through fake people and he is more fake than others.

That sounds exactly like āThe Rest is Football.ā Lineker is fine but he should have got a football administrator or match official involved. Thereās no insight at all. You can listen to a football phone in if you just want to hear some halfwitās ill-informed prejudices.
