I agree and think it is a bit of both. City have clearly dropped off. Arsenal have yet to show they have the consistency to win titles but can push for top 2 or 3. Chelsea are about the same as last year, Villa have perhaps moved up a gear and Forest, Bournemouth have surprised on the upside.
Was about to go on a rant about Neville being a failed manager, Carragher not even trying management, yet both acting like massive cunts every week.
Then Keys popped into the thread and blew them both out of the water in terms of cuntishness
Itâs pretty much just Man City dropping off.
That combined with the top 10 teams being able to take points off others.
If truth be told if you want interest then this is the direction you want to see the league go. Alternatively you can have a league won by the same team for the last 6 out of 7 seasons and the same 4 teams get in the CL.
As I said elsewhere, their bias is showing, the only concern should be promotion and relegation.
Hopefully Forest can move back into the top 5.
The most nonsensical thing about all of this is anyone giving that waste of oxygen any airtime.
Thats what winds me up with Carragher never managed but is an upmost expert in managing.
As opposed to Gary Neville, who has managed but is not an expert in managing.
Maybe itâs our fault bellends didnât get their title race. We should have dropped more points to keep Arsenal in it.
At least he was man enough to give it a go unlike gobshite Carragher.
The key aspects of the season are sorted Champions and through the trapdoor thats what upsets people last day of season will be a damp squid.
At least the threat of relegation wonât be spreading its tentacles over any more teams.
A damp squid is far preferable to a dried out desicated one.
Wont someone think of the squid!
So you canât be a pundit/have opinions if you havenât tried being a manager?
It rather helps if a pundit has at least some kind of experience. Otherwise, you may just as well have the TAN analysis.
Doesnât matter how decorated a player you were if you just regurgitate the same old rubbish as everyone else.
And I donât think players necessarily have that insight. The best tactical analysis is probably going to come from someoneâs coaching staff. The best analysis of refereeing will come from former referees.
The output of every referee working in media refutes that claim.
I should have used the phrase âcompetentâ.
The individual in question played 737 games for our team
And I have watched far more games than that. It doesnât make me a tactical genius.
This is why I gave up on Gary Linekerâs football podcast. It was just former pros with as much insight as Dave down the pub.
Interestingly, Linekerâs other podcasts work because he has presenters with in-depth inside knowledge of their subject matter. There are very few pros that actually have that level of knowledge.
I know Carragher isnât everyoneâs cup of tea but he clearly has a lot of knowledge about the game
