Nope not when they are critiquing management decisions. Performance yeah its like when people who were outfielders slagging goalkeeping off.

Not managing people though.

So what.

Well, according to TAN we’re doing our best, but Arsenal are just too shite despite being imperious.

That is my take as well, I think the level of several clubs and coaching has made it that there are more teams capable on their day to take points off the so called top teams, and for me the Premier league is better for it.

It’s far more fun than watching Man City every week win.

How many is that?

rat-face still has his nose stuck up purpleā€˜s face ass . Keane is sometimes worth listening to because (I think), even he doesn’t rate/like rat-face . These so called pundits are just blabbering so they can collect the money
We are on top of the league because we played football, whereas the others tried to play football, and that’s why between third and sixth/seventh the points gap is minimal.
Shitteh have been buyin the league since they started sports washing money, but these idiots are too cowardly to point out that fact. Instead of appreciating the job by Arne using the same players as Klopp, they are showing their jealousy by their sound bites and using the wrong hole expressing their views

He’s one of the best out there. Last night’s show with Will Still is the sort of best football stuff you can get these days. Don’t know what else do people want. It’s like everyone’s not good enough or boring. Who would bloody succeed in pleasing the football public…

Carra is better doing this kind of in-depth work than the mundane puditry, which is also what he says he prefers

The trouble is that mainstream punditry has become a performative art these days. It’s only when they are away from the screen and writing on their own blogs, or doing podcasts, that many pundits really shine.

To answer the question. Richard Keys.

So many of them have had egg left on their faces.

This wasn’t supposed to happen. Klopp was ironically right to be fair. The club does need signings but he has left the club in a good place and he knew that.

There were many people on this forum (and others) who thought the club would fall apart when Klopp left, and that we would face a season or two in the wilderness.

Close the thread. We have a winner.

To be fair I said cup run and top 4 would be a good return.

Watching the Lineker interview. I’d put this in the ā€˜most liked pundit’ thread if it existed. He’s brilliant. Speaking the truth on refugees, Gaza, the BBC etc. Unlike so many politicians and public figures, he’s not afraid to put his head above the parapet and speak up for the most vulnerable

But… but… He played for Everton!

I agree I wrote much the same on Bluesky just now.

Everyone’s allowed one mistake here and then.

And for all intents, moved on pretty quickly from there
