Perhaps the systemic issue is that itâs the prevailing âwisdomâ in broadcasters to hire big names as a main qualification rather than on their knowledge?
I just mute all games, personally. Much nicer to listen to music instead.

Someone might be knowledgeable but boring as hell which will result in people turning off at the point this person is on.There needs to be a mix to keep people interested.
As opposed to the likes of Michael Owen, Micah Richards, Jermaine Jenas? Riveting.
They should just hire Wenger, Benitez, and Mourinho to go at it against each other.

Ironically the three they have on the Championship football arenât a bad three. The three new hosts of MOTD are all decent in my view.
Micah Richards should stick to being a prick on those âwe buy any carâ adverts about his level.

The rest are fucking awful. Including Carra. He swapped any modicum of sensible debate to be part of a comedy routine.
Bien had Mourinho and Wenger as pundits for the 2019 Champions League Final.
Thereâs so much rubbish out there now. Neville and Carragher - when theyâre not bantering each other - are pretty decent, but the supporting cast is largely diabolical. Even someone like Henry, Iâve found has become stale and not very informative in his analysis. Keane is another who used to be good, but has grown tiresome, and itâs obvious why he never became a top manager. Jamie Redknapp is boring the place out.
Sky Sports in particular really need to sort out their lineups at times. There must be an out of work manager that would take a gig in doing their evening games or occasional 4:30pm games, rather than putting up with Redknapp, Izzy Christiansen, Paul Merson.

On second thoughts , I really donât mind Micah. Despite his affiliation with the cheats.
Itâs more a case of restricting his color commentary to a more well⌠Better outcome. Probably just shouldnât intrude on the main show.
