I can’t stand this fucking dreary shit about women pundits. You sound like Richard Keys, and that’s never a good place to be.
The reason why the women’s game needs a bit of positive discrimination is because it was kneecapped by the FA in the 1920s, by men scared of how popular it was. The ban on women playing professional football was only lifted in 1971 for Christs sake. That’s fifty years of lost development where the game basically had to start again from scratch.
If we can give the woman’s game a bit of a profile boost by putting women on punditry panels, then us men just need to suck that up.
At worst the difference is that you are just now ignoring a woman talking shit about football instead of a man.

My point, which you and candidate 2 (you’ve been promoted) spectacularly missed, was her crying about “limited opportunities”, when the reality is that there are more female pundit slots now across all broadcasing outlets than there ever has been
One is more than none.
Imagine crying about female pundits getting opportunities, and female pundits complaining about the quite spectacularly obvious lack of opportunity relative to male pundits.
