I guess it’s because I’m not young anymore, but I relate much more to James Hunt than to Hamilton and all his over-the-top antics.
Hammy the master has finally won a Grand Prix for Ferrari so so happy the man is back give him a half decent car and he will do the business!
Three brits on the podium as well this has not happened since 1968.
Is this the race that Hamster’s new fling didn’t show up, and he won the race? If that is the case, it would really be nice that we don’t have to see Kim K anymore on pit lane then.
I hope he gives her the boot he doesn’t need that.
Didn’t 24hrs of Le Mans also happen this weekend? Strange that F1 and Le Mans happened on the same weekend. I thought they reached some kind of agreement not to hold the races on the same weekend.
With WC also going on at the same time, I have completely forgotten about the endurance race this weekend. I will have to find the recording from somewhere and watch it later.
Back to F1: I wish we have a more likeable Canadian race driver than that garbage driver Lance Stroll. He shouldn’t even be driving a F1 car, unfortunately his dad backed him with buying an entire team, taking a seat away from other talents. I would love to hear the national anthem at the top step once in a while.
The last thing we want in this world is more autocracy, dictatorship, what have you…
Spoiler alert.

Leclerc deserved the victory, but the safety car ruined Hamster’s 2nd place. For some reason we did not get the final lap shootout. Very strange. Russell lucked into 2nd place. Urgh. Can’t stand Wolff and his inflated self importance. Merc gremlins screwed Antonelli again.
Annoying that it was such an anticlimactic finish. George lucked out in the end pipping Lewis to 2nd (and Lewis might get a further penalty yet).
I liken Antonelli, but want it tighter in the championship going later into the season.
Before the safety car, the positions were pretty fixed due to the time gaps. Leclerc, Hamilton (+20s), Verstappen (+6.6s, and no longer catching Hamilton), Russell (+5.2s).
This is what Leo (Leclerc’s little miniature daschund) thinks of Red Bull Racing…Left them with a bit of a gift. ![]()
I am an old school F1 fan. I like the coverage and broader appeal but I dislike the racing. It’s fake. DRS was just about ok but this is not great. Let the drivers drive. I am starting to not watch.
