Naby KEITA: 2020/21

Apparently it’s not serious according to some Twitter, but yeah it’s bare bones again.

Expected to be back for Spurs but I guess we will see, muscle tightness, got more expectation of seeing Milner back.

Take a wild guess

Ponder me this…if red bull gives you wings then what the fuck does it do to the rest of your body?

Maybe time to move on from Naby and a few other injury prone players…

No point in having them as squad depth when they are hardly ever available.

It’s almost like not having signed anybody at all.

How long has Keita been here now, 3 years? Maybe it’s my age, but can anybody remember a game when afterwards, we all said “Naby was really good today or Naby was outstanding?
All we seem to discuss about him is his constant injuries, lack of form and when he will return. We paid £60 million for him, no doubt he’s on very big money as well. He owes this club and it’s about time for him to put a run of decent games together, otherwise move on.

For me the club needs to decide to keep Oxlade or Keita, sell the other and replace with a robust player. Talent is pointless if you are never available.

Quite possibly correct, just dont see how you can sell a player like this that easily. It will require some effort and a very creative medical report. I think its just that bit too cold for him here and his muscles are tightening.

Chelsea at Anfield when we lifted the PL trophy. There are others but there are so few and far between because of his injuries that it’s difficult to remember. The most telling thing about Keita is that after 3 years no one really has a complete picture of him as a player. He looks a quality player but other than that it’s hard to tell.

In any case, I don’t think that we are looking to sell him, although discovering what’s causing all these injuries wouldn’t go amiss.

I’m sure Leipzig would take him back… Add him to the deal we are are doing for Konate.

As long as Diego Demme isn’t still there. The guy Naby took out after he was left fuming about not being allowed to join Liverpool. A tackle so severe, Ralph canceled the rest of training that day! :joy:

Never been but its top of my list; the continental Europeans I have known have always said the British Isles seem colder, even though the temperature is higher, because of the wetness.

Do we technically have one of the best midfields in the world, Keita, Thiago etc but not ever seeing them much on the field?

Its frustrating but we just got to get behind them and let the staff work with them as long they are still here.

Personally I am worried for a player like Keita whether psychologically will he ever get over these injury problems. Hope for the best for him!

Thiago as the 6 and Keita and Ox as 8s if all fit and in form would be a real top class central midfield as good as pretty much any team has. Quite likely we would never see it though.

Well played Naby.

Guys and ladies, please don’t come after me. But what are the odd that he might get injured over next few days!!!

Thiago, Ox, Naby, Hendo, Curtis ,Gini !!!. Hard to pick 3 from those. Guess Fabinho will have to stick to CB

Few iffy moments aside when he lost the ball, he was pretty good. Much better than in Denmark. As always, you see he’s got quality, the way he can manipulate the ball while always keeping his head up and play line splitting passes. But also as always, now it’s time for him to stay fit for a few weeks/months (it’s almost like it’s starting to be too much to ask, while it should be normal!) so he can grow, reach the level with which he can provide quality performances in a row. Become more secure in this team and more confident with his game. I hope we witness that in his time here, we did a few times, but it was always disrupted by a little injury. All is not lost yet.

He has to stay fit for a sustained period. The quality is there for sure.
