Naby KEITA: 2020/21

No,
Guinness because it is a mans drink. Exactly what he needs to get off the baby’s milkshakes.!

Guinness, a mud and coal milkshake.

From the minutes he played in the pl (some subs some full games)

2018 - 1393 minutes, equates to 15 full games (Matip 1532)
2019 - 813 minutes, equates to 9 full games (Matip 703)
2020 - projected to play 12 full games

Matip in brackets for injury prone reference sakes.

I don’t think Klopp is loyal for the sake of it. He moves Karius on ruthlessly and go out to buy Alisson as soon he realized it was not working out. We can say what if, why not but he is not a manager who makes decisions irrationally. But of course he will be judged by results and I expect him to take ownership for decisions even decisions against popular opinions

I like Guinness, its an acquired taste.

I used to pour Guinness down my throat exclusively but this last few years, with some of the fantastic stouts and porters we can get now, I find it flavourless :frowning:

It’s heartbreaking tbh. I had such high hopes of him. The nearest equivalent I can think of is Kewell.

Keita: 71 games, 3742 mins over three (including this one) seasons
AOC: 90 games, 4341 mins over four (including this one) seasons

Ox in fairness has been proper injured whereas Keita seems to be fragile as fuck.

Right. Ox plays for a considerable period before picking up a serious injury and gets sidelined for a long time. Where as, Keita is like a binary code :stuck_out_tongue: .

Exactly. One is injured in game, the other is injured through pure negative mind control.

I’d sell Naby and Ox and use the wages to pay for Alaba.

Who would buy Naby?! A fantastic prospect but just too brittle :frowning: It would be a big gamble and insuring him wouldn’t be cheap, I wouldn’t have thought. It would be good to get his wages off the books but I think there’s little chance of getting much of a fee for him.
I don’t feel good about saying any of this btw. I’m gutted for the guy and I’m gutted for Klopp too as he really, really wanted Naby Keita in his side to the point where he would have built 'round him to an extent I think. Maybe they could furlough him and see where he’s at in three or four months?!

I snotted myself a bit there! That is funny - imagine if he lived in one of those houses!

Perfect, get him back 100% just in time for Guinea to fuckup.

remember when Sadio first came here, in the first two seasons he was injured every winter during January. hopefully Naby can get past this spell. he’s still young.
