I am not surprised. The 9-0 masked terrible form and did not help us find it, as shown by the game after. This season will be harsh. We are not in balance on the pitch.

Milner, these days, is an old soldier. His game is to come on late on to shut up shop, while also keeping standards high all around the club with his professionalism.
The fact that he is being put into these situations is unfortunate, but I won’t be having a go at the man himself.
