I’m usually very critical of Firmino for dropping in but could actually do with him dropping into midfield, sit on Lobotka and let Salah and Diaz fill the spaces up front.
They are really compact. This will need Trent and Robbo to carve them open.
We can’t even trap a ball. This entire team looks slow!
I’m not saying they were off. I’m saying if he keeps dropping back so much and not keeping the line he is in danger of putting future runs that could be made offside, onside.

Yes, his runs are still good. He still stretches defences, he works hard and contributes to our attack. But his effectivity in front of goal is just not good enough. I don’t know his conversion percentage of goal scoring opportunities, but I do know it must be low.
