I don’t think he has implemented a new system, hence the problem. I, like quite a few others, thought the signing of Nunez indicated a change to 4-2-3-1 offering more stability at the back, especailly against counter attacks, while providing a more possession based attack. He’s bought for one system while maintaining the old one and we’re too open and disjointed. Can’t play a 4-3-3 all season hoping Thiago stays fit enough to make it work.

Well yes, he made the error so he’s fucked up but as the ball comes back Fabinho goes charging out leaving the space behind him for a simple return ball to be on. If he stands fucking still there is no space to be sliced open with such ridiculous ease.

exactly this… its a combination of his play and fellow midfield players… I really get the sense that he is becoming the whipping boy in this really really mediocre side. its a bad unbalanced team
