Well that’s it, I’m going to sit in a dark room with a bottle of scotch, after that.

Long hard painful season ahead.

Fitness isn’t the issue, I am getting on still playing at 56 years old, it is the sharpness that goes you lose that yard of pace, quickness of turn, head still is there but legs go, but fitness/desire doesn’t

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard enough.

Do we have either?

You seem very excited tonight.

It has to be said, we were much better with Matip on the pitch, and of course when Thiago and Arthur came on.

My motm is Diaz

I would hope he can but making sure he his fit for the season is the most important for our team

We need application of that talent at a high speed and sustained high tempo. Sadly our midfielders are spent both due to advancing age and having to push themselves so hard for so long. The human body has a shelf life.

I’m in shock with that I’ve seen, not too sure how to react to this.

Do you laugh it off? Do you throw your phone at the wall? Do you make ridiculous comments? Idk.

To me you seem like a troll looking for attention with your stupid comments.

Yeah…well that’s what nights like tonight does to me.

But apparently for some getting battered 4-1 is all humpty dumpty…I don’t get how you can be but they seem to be.

We have a long season, how can we (I mean Klopp and co) fix this? All our rivals must be licking their lips thinking we are pushovers now!

I can’t understand how we beat Man City in the Charity Shield, then we beat Bournemouth and now we are being Bournemouth against Napoli. I was expecting a draw at least, like 1-1.

We did look leggy the last few matches of the season and conceded first a bunch of times. Mané and our familiar shape and pattern of play helped ball us out. Even then we weren’t pressing nearly like we used to.

Now Salah and Diaz are way out wide and can’t threaten as much as they should. Can someone please explain what we are trying to achieve with this tactic

I was answering a question if we have hard work and talent.
Answer is yes to both.

Well as an example, Milner has talent and work ethic. What he doesn’t have any more is speed and sharpness. That can make all the difference at the top level
