Nat Phillips (CB) to Bournemouth (on loan)

Hopefully he gets game time. He’s contracted to 2025, so a decent run under Bournemouth and the summer transfer window is likely when he goes permanently, and hopefully for a bit of coin.

Shame would rather he went to a PL side on loan.

£20M please

Bournemouth love spending money on Liverpool youngsters.

Make it 30M and it’s game on.

He’s three times the defender that Maguire is and is only available at around half his price. It will be a bargain signing.

F*ckin hell, Nat Phillips on Dean Court.

There will be a few balls outside the ground per game for kids to take home.

:joy:

Someone has him in a Bournemouth shirt in the rumours thread…

Yes.

Hardly a youngster though? He will be 25 in a few weeks time. Older than Joe Gomez.

It was tongue in cheek.

But, at 25, for a CB, he’s a solid player with his peak years coming. If Dan Burns’ is moving from Brighton to Newcastle for £13M at 29 years old, Nat is worth at least the £13m.

if leicester wants him, there’s clearly a europa league caliber defender there.

only marginally. Also someone less injury prone

best call is to see how gomez progresses with his injury and decide between them two on who to cut loose at the end of season

If we’re going to cut Gomez loose I can only hope it’s not for the sake of Nat Phillips.

We’d need to buy a replacement.

Maybe. But being fit for the majority of the games does play a part as well. Nat is mostly been injury free his whole career
