In Spain it was driven by poor owners who needed a way out of 1bil debt. In Italy the Milanâs canât cope with not being as relevant as they used to be. In England it has been pushed by the Americans who want to turn football into a risk free cash cow ala American sports. Henry and the Glazers will, rightly, get flack for their role in this even being mooted
