I think the FA’s relationship with the PL is the same as it was with the EFL then. That’s why those who say it will come, well it will probably just be adapted from what we have alas the current CL changes will in a few years be deemed too little.
MC didn’t win anything by pulling out first, fans in general think they are corrupt as they come, no one particularly likes them, I had one guy who hated Liverpool at our club still said if I had to choose I’d go with LFC for the title over that.
I think we have burnt that a bit, rest assured MC and Chelsea can spin this whatever they like, the only people from Chelsea who come out with any credit is those fans and Chelsea fans are generally dicks anyhow.
I have a feeling that Leicester will be everyone outside of the “six” second club for the next several weeks bar maybe Westham fans
If you know anything about chairman from that time it really does sound as absurd as it sounds.
No it’s not at all, what are you saying?
I got this from an Evertonian I know and believe me he doesn’t do irony…
Must admit I was very proud that Everton did not get involved in that mess from the start

You don’t need an invitation to the ESL to be winners, but they are winners.

In fairness they were probably as entitled to it as Spurs

I think that there should be a punishment - not sure what that should be. Should be a way of punishing the owners without the clubs/players/manager and Fans
Ban them all from travelling to the uk for 5 years,or at the very least a stadium ban.
That wouldn’t hurt any of them would it?

A better punishment would be that if they ever visit the UK they aren’t allowed back ‘home’ again. I would also stand them in the cow shed for that extended visit. (or some other unpleasant football stand in a ground of a lower division club).
Tbf, I think the step that the PL has taken so far is appropriate and proportionate (the clubs involved have been requested to remove their representatives on various committees voluntarily before they are forced). That is probably a sufficient wrap on the knuckles and show of humility needed.

I know what it reminds me of. New Coke. Way back in the 80s when Coca Cola decided to reformulate and rebrand without asking their customers ahead of time. There was a massive backlash. In response Coke came out with Coca Cola Classic, which was the original formula that everyone was used to and wanted to keep drinking. New Coke ultimately died a deserved death. Didn’t happen as quickly as this mess, though.
Super League is like New Coke.

No, but it might please a hell of a lot of footballs fans to know they wouldn’t have to share a stadium with that lot for the foreseeable future.
I honestly don’t think they’ll have the balls to show their faces when fans are allowed back in.
Levy maybe but he is the only one of them who lives here isn’t he
you are wrong.
hes allowed an opinion after the fact.
if not, to use an extreme example, ex soliders would never be allowed to lament about war and pick up a war pension at the same time.

I’d make them walk across that pitch, present themselves infornt of the home fans, put their heads between their legs, and kiss their own asses.
