Asking what’s good about a manager who has just won his 2nd CL in a row, his 3rd overall, and has the best team in football for the last couple of years is bizarre to say the least. And no, it’s not just about the money or the quality at hand. Other clubs also have money and great players; none of them are particularly close to PSG, including us.
and the French football league is crap apparently.
i read that on here…
I said what is ´so good´
Man with comfortably the best side wins Champions League. Nice.
We do not have great players.
A shock it will definitely will be for the players. Also not sure if the full week training will be sustained as we usually have European fixtures during the week as well which is something iraola didn’t have at Bournemouth.
Would be good to see our players get more match fit but hope not many injuries
‘What is so good about Enrique?’ : Back to back CL wins including schooling us on the way to both.
Is this like ; ‘What have the Romans ever done for us.’ ?
Semenyo said no days off not that they do full training everyday. He said first team players do 30 minutes of training the day after a game - that’s essentially a warm up at the pro level then they’re probably doing low intensity stuff in the gym or getting a massage.
In my untrained opinion going in and getting the body working again (at a lower intensity) is better for recovery than sitting around at home or jetting off to Prague. I run marathons and the recommendation is always to go out and do a light jog or intense walk for 30 mins the day after the race.
Yeah , but apart from that …
Good, they have a lot of Big Macs to work off
Whoever is going to be LFC manager or Head Coach, he will have to ![]()
He must be if he schooled us.
Not having that. Simply not true. The french league is an extremely competitive league and any number of teams can win it not just the Sportswashers.
Don’t mention the Bundesliga. It’s a very entertaining and competitive league that Bayern wins every season.
I’ve just had a horrible thought, and it’s put me right off hiring Andoni Iraola.
If he gets it, it’ll mean we’re being managed by AI ![]()

That is high praise from Jürgen.
I would not be surprised if he has already rented one gods houses.
This is why I stopped watching Sunday Supplement. These pseudo-intellectuals felating themselves and discussing football like it’s Sunday Politics.
“Oooh he went two months without a win at home” - yeah they did between February and March - that consisted of 4 home games against Villa, Sunderland, Brentford and Man United and they also didn’t lose any of those games. That is the big bogeyman run that I’ve heard about from every journalist.
Bournemouth’s spend on wages is 18th in the league yet Iraola has them playing some of the best attacking football in the league. “2 months” sounds like an eternity, 4 games does not. It also came directly after selling their best attacker in the January window and they didn’t lose another game for the rest of the season.
God I hate the state of journalism. I have to think it’s all just about cliques and posh-kids who can take unpaid work for years to get these jobs because I can’t name a single one of them who know enough about the game to comment with any sort of depth or intellect. They just copy and paste other people’s opinions and print club statements uncritically.
Even worse. His maternal name is Sagarna.
We´d be managed by AIs
Hear hear!
