Yeah for this definitely.
Ha, probably because of that contract termination. Arsenal isn’t really helpful I guess
Good lord, Kabak is only 20 yrs old.
Does anybody on here know anything about Kabak? Because I’m not hearing anything good about him on Sky Sports.
I take it that’s a no then?
He’s a hothead and spits well onto opponents.
Thanks, I feel a lot better about this signing now.
No problem at all. Feel free to spit, I mean shout if you need any more info.
I don’t know anything about this kid.
Is he any good and which of our CB is he most like?
I refuse to compare ANYONE to Virgil, so take him off the table. Our Virgil is in a world class all himself.
With that said, Kabak is like none of our current center halves. He’s a throwback style of player. Very physical and likes to fight. He’s going to have to tone it down here or he will have a terrible time. He’s only 20, and he has a lot of upside but it needs to be channeled bc he’s REALLY raw. Has a temper. Has very good mobility but he’s a physical sort and never will shy from a challenge.
Might be good to have a bit of a nutter in the side, as long as he’s tamed and trained accordingly.
The bookies are now offering only 1/5 on this happening following a slew of bets being placed.
We have been the ‘nicest’ team in the league since Suarez left
If it is a loan with an option to buy, the Kabak deal is perfect. He can come in and show us what he can do. If we like it, sign here. If not, off you pop… and we bring in Car, Botman, Konate, Upemecano, Tapsoba… or whoever the preferred option is at that point.
I looked into Kabak in some detail months ago when we were first linked. Seemed a good player, liked his duels, sort of old school defender, up for the fight. Schalke have struggled and there is a slight suggestion he has thus stalled a little in his progress. Nothing too concerning, but a loan with an option to buy would be the perfect deal.
There goes the ‘Fair Play League’ then. Bugger!
To be fair to Kabak, I do wonder how much of his emotion and temper are a result of being such a young player in such an unstable situation at Schalke.
He’s coming to one of the most stable and “emotionally intelligent” situations in the world, here at LFC. He’s just going to have to make better decisions. The Boss, as well at the veteran leadership, will help him with that. He has the right tools. He just has to be nurtured a bit.
How many times has he spat, the suggestion here is that he comes on and spits at all 11 players and the ref?
Diouf was a twat who constantly one throughout his career, this lad is 20.
