The best thing about Campionship Manager was I got the game for free.
I got the demo off the front of a magazine. I think it gave you 1 full season to play. However you could change the end date in the text file to what ever you wanted

Playing Bioshock at the moment on the Switch. Great game.
There was a detective game where you have to catch a criminal following geographical clues. I guess it was Carmen Santiago.
I’m sure there many games that we have unrightfully neglected when it comes to these lists… One of the reasons I’ll always remember TW3 in particular is that still haven’t met another player who got the worst possible ending. I said that I would likely replay it one day, given time and space, and make amends for that. The first two games were pretty good, too, more than pretty good but the third one… My first encounter with Leshen was unforgettable, for example, and the beauty of the game is that is so large that you may completely miss such encounters. So much effort was put into every little detail, it’s incredible. As for that particular death… I feel you, mate.
I thought that these games would offer very little “replayability” because of insane plot twists in their stories. Well, that’s just one small entry in the book of things that I was wrong about. I love them, I absolutely love them, I can’t quite remember how many times I’ve replayed all three. The first one, though, that was something special. The whole series is an example that games can be art. I’m kind of glad that the movie was never made, I don’t think anyone could capture the universe and raw emotions of the games, not in the movie format at least.
BioShock is also the reason I’m placing so much expectation on System Shock remake, the upcoming third game and Atomic Heart in particular. I’ve never had the chance to play System Shock 1 or 2 and I really hope the remake of the first installment does it justice, so the second one comes out as well at some point. Teasers for SS1 remake and SS3 (and Atomic Heart) look frightening, the former two in particular are filled with Dead Space-style dread.
Great fun reading through people’s top 10 games; would be interested in hearing more people’s choices.
For me:
-Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions - all time favourite game with an incredible story, rich gameplay, well developed characters, great soundtrack and lovely art; particularly the updated cel shaded cutscenes
-Total War: Rome - From incendiary pigs to killing the entire Egyptian royal family with a unit of milita hoplites in gateway. Love it.
-Star Wars Battlefront 2 - the ps2 one not the modern one. Just like the simulations
-Team Fortress 2 - Hats!
-Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver - Think I’m a bit younger than some on here so able to be caught in the pokemon hype - Gold and Silver were the best ones with many great mechanics added and decent depth Elite 4; the remakes kept everthing that made the originals great and added even more
-GTA San Andreas - Five was great. Vice City was excellent. San Andreas was the best
-TellTale Walking Dead Season 1 - does a great job of building the relationship between Lee and Clementine and making you cry at the end
-Stardew Valley - a rich and relaxing farm simulator - for those of you looking for a relaxing, untaxing game that’ll have you hooked I really recommend it - it’s a delight
-Terraria - 2D minecraft with a lot more to do
-Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together - another story rich, deep tactical rpg. With multiple endings available depending on how you choose to play the game and a massive list of variables on the way it’s a very rewarding and replayable game.
Tried to avoid picking games from the same series so some very good games missed out here
The more the merrier, it’s always great to see other peoples choices. I’ve played so many I’ve easily forgotten some classics.
Nice to see Borderlands is on many lists, I just love it as a franchise.
Playing the Omaha beach on MoHAA on very hard and surround sound was fucking intense!! Sometimes you don’t even get out of the boat. I’ve never been so tense playing a game.
I played both mohaa and cod online/multiplayer back in the clanbase days and I-Series Lans!
I don’t really know this game but it reminded me of two games i played on the PS1. One was Suikoden and I think involved moving your characters around a series of tiles to fight enemy characters. The other was a game which i think was similar but you had to win battles or negotiate with provinces to agree to send you troops to build an army. I can’t remember what was it was called though…
If you buy or already own a Deep Silver-published game on GOG, you can claim Deadlight: Director’s Cut for free. (I got the game for free as I have Metro and Wasteland by Deep Silver in the previous GOG giveaways.)
Add the game to the cart and claim a complimentary copy of Deadlight: Director’s Cut if you own or buy any Deep Silver game during this publisher sale.
The offer is valid until 22nd March 2021, 2 PM UTC.
GTA 5.
CIV (most of the versions)
MineCraft.
Just named my game recently (HuRT Zone), hoping to release on steam within the next few months.
Back playing overwatch a lot at the mo. Got bored of MW as I’m not a fan of warzone at all.
Bought myself a 2nd monitor as well! Now got 2 * Acer Predator 24"
I’ve just started Outer Worlds. It feels so odd to be getting New Vegas vibes from a game that officially isn’t Fall Out.
Also playing some Borderlands 1 Enhanced. I would like to max out a couple of characters at least by the end of the year.
I’ve started playing House Flipper. Quite relaxing, although in real life i would never want to do any of these chores.

New to this thread, but I just bought a gaming PC (GPU/16 GB RAM/~500 GB HD) — partly to run deep learning in Python on my machine locally, but also for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which comes with 2 petabytes (2 million GB) of scenery data. Still, there are some even more realistic addons that you can buy, one being the City of Liverpool. For 9.99 this doesn’t look too bad, particularly with the below being one of the modeled buildings/facilities…
NBA 2K21 is free on Epic Games this week (20-May-2021: 6 days left).
Recommend Urtuck the Desolation is pretty good. Its kind of has a Battle Brothers/Darkest Dungeon vibe.
Flew a 747-8 from Liverpool (LPL) to Bangor, ME (BGR). I ended up finding a free version of the ground modeled so installed that, but you can see the ground from the cockpit.
Nice, there’s a match going on I think.
I can see Jurgen. Kind of funny how Everton‘s stadium is flat, says a lot about where they are as a club.
