Yeah I’m loving a vh Tyrion run through using archers only.

Syberia I & II giveaway on GOG for a limited time (about 64 hours left as of posting time).

Valve has just announced a hand held gaming device launching later this year for around £400.

I want one :grinning:

Epic Games is giving away A Plague Tale: Innocence. The game received a lot of positive reviews. I almost bought the game a couple of weeks ago. Glad that I held off since I still have too many games sitting unwrapped in my game libraries.

It’s a good game. Never finished it (though I still intend to!), but that’s less a comment on the game than it is on how fickle I am.

I am re-playing Nier : Automata after the Steam version has been patched last month (But FAR user patch pretty much did everything from a couple of years back to address a lot of the issues with the game). This actually is my 3rd play through of the game (but not starting everything from scratch though)…perhaps I should mess around with the “plug-in chips” for defence and attack in the game.

This. I find I get jaded very quickly with games. Can’t get started with Red Dead Redemption 2 for instance. Play a few hours and just don’t return to it.

I just started the same game, was a free download on PS5 and I was curious. I really dislike shooter games on consoles as I’m an old-school FPS player from the CS beta days. But this game immediately reminds me of The Witcher with it’s gameplay and open-world questing-style play. I’m a few hours in as well, just got to the first settlement stage.

I’m underwhelmed with the PS5 so far. should have saved the $700.

Yes, Arthur Morgan is one of my favourite characters of all time. Watching his journey throughout the story is brilliant.

RDR2 is a brilliant game once you get into it. The first three or so hours are an absolute drag though, think they went a bit overboard on the tutorial and cinematic elements initially.

The Amiga wasn’t even Commodore’s best vintage computer. That honour belongs to the 64.

it’s decent enough. I see elements of the game which I am getting frustrated trying to unlock (fishing, etc) but I have the hunting part down. already have the legendary bear kill done and the jail break. I still hate shooting games on consoles tho. where’s my mouse.

I mean, it’s what you grow up with, isn’t it? Never had a 64, we started with a Spectrum 128k and from there progressed to an Amiga 500, which was basically all I played on from age 8 to 16 or so. In fact we had it in our loft and would still fire it up from time to time until we sold it to raise a bit of cash a few years ago.

Massive nostalgia for me, this.

Edit: Plus if you read the article, the same company already made a mini C64!

Thumbs up even though I can’t deal with FPS games (motion sickness).
