It’s a game called Shenmue (spelling?) but I’ve never heard of it. I’m still hoping for a nice New Year surprise, though.
Thats the one. I think Shenmue was a very popular franchise on the old megadrive or playstations. Not sure if this is any good. Some of their free game offers can be quite good ones, others less so but always worth checking out.
I’ve finally got round to playing 7 days to die. Playing without zombies while I get used to the mechanics of the game and am starting to get addicted.
Epic giving away Pathfinder: Kingmaker today. A day or two ago they gave away loop hero which came out this year and was very well recieved.
The Reboots of Tomb Raider trilogy are free on Epic Games today. (I bought “Shadow” only a few months ago, just started on the game…wish that I held off on spending $20+ when it was on sale last time.)
I was thinking about what game to play. Ended up replaying Dragon Age Origins/Awakening & Dragon Age 2.
Didn’t like the third dragon age so much.
Just might give this Tomb Raider game a shot. Not a huge fan of the series but I’ve heard good reviews about this game.
I bought all 3 games and like them. Others told me that the reboots do not have enough puzzles to solve when compared with the original series. As I do not have the experience to the original games, I enjoyed the story telling and the game play of the reboots very much.
Try Norsca.
Malekith is hard after post patch with Chaos invasion destroying so much infrastructure, but pre-patch it was one of the easiest in my view. Starting in a corner is always good and Malekith is one of the the strongest lords and DE has one of the strongest roosters. It is however much more difficult these days, post patch due to Chaos Invasion.
Norsca is however absurdly difficult on Very Hard/Very Hard and Legendary due to weak economy and the fact that elves love to invade Norsca along with all of Bretonnia and the Empire.
Edit: But at Turn 52 this has not yet happened. I suspect then that you play the start wrong, because Malekith should be one of the easiest starts in the game if you get a decent start. I would perhaps advice you to restart the campaign 1-3 times until you get a some what okay start. Because at Turn 52, you should be under pressure but your flanks should be mostly secure I think.
Very good game especially the blood moons, zombie hoard after zombie hoard
Have you ever watched Neebs Gaming’s let’s plays of 7DtD? Well worth watching if not, some of their horde nights are hilarious
No, I hadn’t heard of it. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll give it a watch.
I restarted and did my slave economy properly this time, also had armies ready to catch chaos.
Currently on 110 and invading Ulthuan after securing all the left flank.
Been really fun though.
Started watching a 30+ episode series on Alpha 19 playthrough. So far on episode 18…really good fun especially once it reaches day 14.
Started playing Trials of Mana (remake of the 90’s action RPG on SNES)
Had good memories of playing the 90’s game , hopefully the new game comes upto scratch.
whoa, this is definitely huge news for me.
Fortunately I don’t care too much about these games, but it is a worry that I’ll never get to play Elder scrolls VI. Still, that’s probably a long way off yet.
Spent ages playing warcraft starcraft and diablo games , blizzard went on a downward spiral ever since activision took over , hopefully , microsoft will let them do their own thing
WoW was massive. 20 years ago.
I would suspect that MS is only really interested in the CoD series, still one of the largest FPS franchises in history. The rest is aged, old fluff.
Wow was still massive until a couple of years ago. It’s expansions in the last few years have less well received each time.
I think a new Starcraft would be well recieved. The older of these games would probably be good for their game pass, like they did with the Bethesda games they got last year.
